“I tried CrossFit gyms all over Houston before I made it to Vertigo. Bigger well known gyms and some smaller ones. When I walked into Vertigo I immediately felt welcome, which in my experience is hard to find. More than 3 years later, I'm just as excited to get in the door after work at the end of the day, to visit and work hard, as I was on day one. Only difference is I feel a little less like I'm going to barf at the end than I did then. The owners (Kurt and Laura) and coaches are awesome and care about and give attention to each individual. The workouts are intense but safety is paramount here. The coaches will work to scale the workouts so that it will still be results oriented, but without compromising mechanics and overall safety. To this day what matters most to me though is how relaxed and down to earth everyone here is. Love it here!”

“This was my first spin class ever and I enjoyed it very much! I got a great workout, got to meet some new people, and was very impressed with the instruction and professionalism. The workout was fast paced but I felt no pressure to try to keep up when I got tired. In fact, our instructor, Leslie, reminded us to go at our own pace and slow down or rest if we needed to. The playlist she used was also perfect for our workout routine, and it varied in speed and drove the rhythm of our routine. Leslie kept us super motivated and even made sure we were all doing everything correctly. Definitely a professional I would train with again. The studio itself is cozy but spacious. It has a spin room as well as a yoga room. The studio is a bit hidden, but it's easy if you just map directions to it. I'm glad this studio was recommended to me and I'm looking forward to going back for more classes!”

“I’d move to Houston just to go to this gym. It’s got all of the equipment you need, for all levels of training. This is the type of place you could train as an elite athlete and also your mom/grandmother. It’s that cool and well-rounded of a place. My background is in exercise science and I’d definitely trust these guys training me. They’re innovative, smart, practical, and down to earth. They also have a good sense of humor. It’s got three separate rooms and is incredibly spacious. Say hi to the owner Eric for me. He’s an awesome and intelligent dude and is working on a lot great things over there.”

“My 6 year old son goes here. Master Walker is amazing with the kids. He is encouraging, positive and a strong presence. He is an advocate for manners and good behavior in all facets of the child's life. I also go to the kickboxing class. He is positive and encouraging with the adults as well. I feel gassed in a good way. I look forward to my next class (as soon as muscles recover) ????”

“I’m fairly new to the gym I’m on my 3rd week. It does take some time to get use to some of the exercises especially if you haven’t worked out in a long time. I love the fact that the trainers are very nice and professional and walk around assisting when needed!! I have a goal to reach by September and have already noticed good changes in my body so I’m excited to see the outcome and have no doubt I’ll reach my goals!! The more I go the easier it gets and I love the environment!! It’s very welcoming!!!”
