“Yes, the place looks run-down. Yes, the owner (Christie or Kristie) does not seem like the friendliest person on earth (at the beginning). We have a special-need son, Hippo therapy is one of the thing recommended by his doctor. At the age of 3 and a fear for large animals, it's impossible to get him to ride a horse on his own. That's why I looked everywhere that allows double-riding so I can ride with him. In addition, I thought it might be fun to introduce my 5-yr-old daughter to horseback riding. Christie introduced the horses to us and took the time to allow the kids geting comfortable with them before the departure. After an hour of casual conversation while riding, we connected with her and her mission to care for her horses. Both the kids were having so much fun, they asked to come back again. We had a good time and will make this a regular thing.”
