(February 11, 2019, 5:31 pm)The Pizza Shoppe is take out and delivery only - an unassuming little shop next to a gas station and donut place at Franz and Avenue D. For a neighborhood pizza place, this one is a star. The pizza is closer to thin crust than thick, but is definitely of the hand tossed variety. Every pizza gets a garlic butter coat brushed onto the crust before it is put in the box, and the pizza is fantastic. The cheesy garlic bread is also delicious, and comes with more than a normal fast food pizza place would include in an order for the price charged. If you go in person, the owner is very friendly as well, and has been there every time I've gone. They support local sports teams and proudly display the photos of their employees who have gone on to serve in the military, so its the sort of place that feels like it belongs to a small town neighborhood.

(February 7, 2019, 10:56 pm)I asked for delivery on a pizza I ordered. Unfortunately it took two hours to get it I’m assuming because I live in a new neighborhood. Tom apologized and made sure that I got my pizza. He delivered it himself and I really appreciated that gesture. His pizzas and customer service is truly exceptional and he just made a long term customer. Thank you Tom for going out of your way to make sure I got my food!

(December 31, 2018, 1:18 pm)Very friendly staff and owners. Their pizzas are always a hit especially their BBQ pizza! Our girls enjoy the sandwiches. Something for everyone!
