(January 16, 2019, 9:57 am)For now, this is my go-to place for sushi in Katy. I did not give it a 5☆, because I have had incredibly good sushi in the past and it's not easy to reach that level of quality and selection. But Shogun definately deserves a 4☆ because it is above average. It is reasonably priced for the quality. They also have tepanyaki tables where the chef prepares the food in front you with a bit of show. I did not try that, so I can't comment on that aspect of it. I have been there about 4 times and it never disappoints.

(September 30, 2018, 7:55 pm)As my wife and I first time it was great. We wanted hibachi so we had to wait for other people to arrive but the wait wasn't long. Our cook was great from the moment he arrived. He was very cheerful, fun & personable. There were also kids eating and he kept us & them entertained the entire time. The food was flavorful and the portion was definitely worth the money.
