I accompany my wife who has gone to him for well over ten years and I'm shocked to see the one star reviews, but heartened by the fact they are very, very old. We've never had to wait long at all, the staff is very personable and friendly, as is Dr Zia. He is very approachable and genuinely cares about each of his patients, going out of his way to make any accommodations if needed. Knowledgeable, caring, flexible, great staff, what more could you ask for!?
Dr Tariq Zia is a most dedicated MD. I've been a patient for many years and he keeps me going. I never have to wait more than 15 or 20 minutes.
So if anyone of you is not happy, you're from another galaxy.
I like Dr. Zia. He has been attentive and encouraging. He does not seem rushed to me. The wait time is another matter. It doesn't matter if it's morning or afternoon, I still wait 45 min to 1 hr and 15 min. I've only had one problem with my prescription not getting called in because of computers being down. Otherwise, the staff is pleasant and responsive.
I think Dr. Zia and the staff are great. Yes, often you'll wait 45min to 1 hour to see Dr. Zia, but I feel he's very friendly and accessible and will work with me on cost/insurance if need be.
He's very personable, just have to get to know him some. He knows his stuff a great deal, you just may not know it until you are doing much better.
I'd recommend him to anyone.
