“Dr. McGraw is a great pediatrician who really listens to me. When my son was an infant, I had the suspicion that he was not getting enough milk from breast feeding. In the hospital I talked to my doctor, every nurse, and two lactation consultants about these concerns, and every single one of them brushed it off and said he looked fine. My first appointment with Dr. McGraw, she took my concerns very seriously and did some lab work that confirmed my suspicions that he was not getting enough milk. She spent over half an hour talking with us about how breast feeding was going, different strategies we could try, how to pump and how to increase my supply, and finally she helped us make the very difficult decision to switch to formula as none of these things were working. I truly believe she saved my son’s life by listening to everything I had to say and taking my concerns seriously, when no one else would. She never judged me or made me feel guilty in any way for not being able to breast feed. I feel very supported by her.”
