They explained what they were doing and what my family needed to do at all the stages of Mom’s care. Experience must’ve told Tina to come earlier than scheduled the morning Mom passed away and I’m so glad she was there to help me navigate the situation. Even with a dozen family members in the house and special request for accommodations in the end, they made a very difficult time in my family’s life as manageable as possible. Through the rehab process for my low back injury, she has worn the hats of PT and counselor, and I could not be more thankful for her caring and knowledgeable approach. The way the PTs here take such a multi-faceted approach to rehab is incredibly unique and amazing! We have worked on identifying faulty movement patterns, as well as core/hip stability, hip mobility, pelvic floor strength, weightlifting technique, and it has all been SO good. Everything in the gym is easier now, after the work I’ve put in with Dr. Sara. When I needed confidence to push my recovery forward, she was there to drop her initial plan for my session and get me under the barbell, to encourage me and show me that I was capable. “I cannot recommend this place highly enough. I encourage people to read Equity Urgent Care's website. Everything is true as relates to our experience. My wife and I found a great doctor here, Dr. Victoria Hopkins. Her background includes Rice, Brown and Harvard, and extensive experience as a surgeon, family primary care doctor and emergency room doctor. This is a great place for fast, competent, friendly medical service. This is at present the only office location (in the whole country) for Equity Urgent Care. Unlike most other “urgent care” offices, this one is full-time staffed by a medical doctor. You will see a doctor and not a nurse or physician assistant. They have very clean facilities for, among other things, infection testing swabs and X-rays (other services are listed on their website). Dr. Hopkins is very professional and nice. My wife and I were referred here, with high compliments, by the receptionist at Baylor Family Care when we arrived at Baylor too late in the day for their lab to be open. Dr. Hopkins really cares, and saw us late on a Thursday, and also had us come back the next day for a re-check in case my wife’s condition worsened, and on the second day the doctor also checked my condition, She wanted us to see her any time over the weekend as might be needed. We also liked the receptionists that processed our insurance and (very short) paperwork. Dr. Hopkins has done many kinds of testing and procedures at this location, including for example what I think she said was a shoulder reconstruction. My wife and I are so glad to have found this place, which has been here for a year or so. We had no line or wait in either of our visits. We are so glad to discover that there is a place near us for competent, friendly, reassuring, and professional service. We had great confidence in this doctor. We never felt hurried or rushed or that we weren’t able to discuss all our concerns and questions. I rank Dr. Hopkins among my top group of favorite doctors.”
