I was on an internship at 2 major Houston hospitals from July - December, 2018 and was able to stay at the Art Abbey during that entire timeframe. His home was always spotless and clean! I really appreciated that there was also a garage to keep my car inside. “Me and my boyfriend stayed at this hotel for two nights and everything was astoundingly pleasant! TLDR: GREAT PLACE TO STAY AT!!! The bed is extremely comfortable; I actually even tried to lift the mattress to see what the hell mattress they use to make it feel like you’re sinking into a deep soft fluffy dream (but it was too heavy unfortunately). Room might be small for some people but the ambience is great, sofa bed is nice and comfy (I actually chose this hotel because of how MODERN and SLEEK the rooms look without charging you a hefty fee). Bathroom is beautiful with good lighting so I didn’t look extra ugly!! (We got a king suite hoping it would have the shower with sliding door but we got a regular shower with curtain instead, but that’s not a problem!!) Now my FAVORITE part about this place gotta be the breakfast and pool. Very clean pool, not crowded at all, and hot tub is GREAT. Breakfast was very tasty (surprisingly!) and staffs are friendly!!(especially the kitchen staffs; the men were very kind and polite). I did not find any negatives during my stay, and would definitely come back next time I visit Houston. Had one of the best time of my life with my date, and loved every second of it! GIVE THIS PLACE A TRY!! I’m glad I chose it after HOURS of looking at hotel reviews online!!”

“Inexpensive hotel in town, rooms are large, clean, but sparse. Desk staff are friendly and helpful. Check out your towels and shampoo, soap before settling in just in case you need more than offered. No hot drink cups, so carry one up from the front desk if you want hot tea or instant soup in your room. Coffee machine available 24 hours. Breakfast is barely acceptable, instant oatmeal, pastry, some fruit, but adequate if you're on the road or in a hurry. Mexican restaurant next door with great tortilla soup.”

I guess this location's definition of king size is different as this wasn't the first time we would lodge at Homewood suites.”

I'm a designer by trade, so I'm just picky! ???? Nice area to stay in. Much nicer than the other areas we have been to in Texas so far. As a Hilton diamond member I really enjoyed this hotel.
