“I always get fresh quality pizza from Dominos. I DO NOT have my food delivered. I pick it up so l can alwsys assure its hotness and not stopping at multiple times before it reaches me. Otherwise, l must say the front counter always greets you, but, can do a bit better on the customer service end of things though. Not leaving you on hold for long periods of times when calling in. “The Pizza Shoppe is take out and delivery only - an unassuming little shop next to a gas station and donut place at Franz and Avenue D. For a neighborhood pizza place, this one is a star. The pizza is closer to thin crust than thick, but is definitely of the hand tossed variety. Every pizza gets a garlic butter coat brushed onto the crust before it is put in the box, and the pizza is fantastic. The cheesy garlic bread is also delicious, and comes with more than a normal fast food pizza place would include in an order for the price charged. If you go in person, the owner is very friendly as well, and has been there every time I've gone. They support local sports teams and proudly display the photos of their employees who have gone on to serve in the military, so its the sort of place that feels like it belongs to a small town neighborhood.”
