“I love everything about this place, but I put 4 stars because of Ms. Avila. She is a ruthless dictator with a terrible, unkempt attitude. If I had a dime for every time she used sarcasm on me, I would be able to feed all of the starving children in Africa. She thinks she is the boss of the school, worse even, the entire school DISTRICT. I think I should make a 2001: a Space Odyssey reference every time she dictates me. "I'm sorry, Katherine, I'm afraid I can't do that".”

Sara, who is the front desk Concierge, is absolutely amazing & has a heart of gold! Kim brings in the best entertainment, activities & host a special event for every holiday! Michelle, Health & Wellness Director, works tirelessly to coordinate medication, doctors visits, Home Health & overall well being for every resident. Juan, takes care of building maintenance & is always up & down the hallways with a smile on his face ready to assist you in any way! All the personal care, med techs, housekeeping & dining room staff employees treat the residents with love & respect. It is very comforting to know your loved one is well taken care of!”

“My grandmother lives here currently. The staff is very attentive and mostly friendly. I love the Wednesday happy hour. Residents get free drinks and charcuterie tray. I do wish there were more cards and dominos got them. The place is fairly new and located in central Buda. For the most part, we like this place.”

My family and I have been attending GCF Hays for a little over a year now and we have been overwhelmed with the amount of growth and support we are constantly surrounded by. It’s so much more than Sunday services here, it truly is a family and I am forever grateful to have found them. They also have an amazing nursery program so the littlest members of our family have a space designed especially for them while mom and dad listen to the Sunday message. Five stars all around!”
