“Absolutely gorgeous, magical, sparkling yoga weekend at Ruby Retreats. Really well thought-out logistics made the stay comfortable and seamless. The catered vegetarian food was top-notch. Thoughtful decor touches included plush towels and a badass book collection in the common area. The nature walk from the lodging area to the yoga barn provides a lovely transition from social time to classroom time and back. A highlight of the weekend was the expertly facilitated drum circle on top of the hill with a gorgeous sunset playing in the background and the night sky milky with stars, topped off with a ride in the back of a pickup truck back to the lodge. I don’t know about you, but I don’t get to ride in the backs of pickup trucks too often, and my friends, this was a delight. Five stars: gorgeous venue, uniquely laid out and flawlessly organized. “We absolutely loved our stay at Creekhaven Inn! From the beginning, the staff was so welcoming and caring, and they really thought of every little thing. The breakfast was delicious, and the rooms were spotless and adorable. They even left a handwritten note on our breakfast tray the first morning welcoming us - who does that anymore? Such a nice touch! You can tell they really take pride in what they do and are happy to have you stay there. We also loved the amenities: kayaks, creek access, bikes, hot tub - we did it all! Definitely coming back. Thank you for making our stay a memorable one!”

“We loved our stay at Cypress Creek Cottages. We chose Orange #3, which is not on the creek, but the bedroom opens to a generously sized private hot tub. The king sized bed was super comfy, not too soft and not too firm. The place was spotlessly clean and super cute inside. We loved opening the blinds on the side wall of the house that look over nothing but trees. It was the relaxing getaway we needed and we will return! Great value, too!”

“My husband and i booked a couples massage while visiting wimberley. Mary was my masseuse and we can’t recall the lady who was my husbands. Mary was PHENOMENAL. I am a physical therapist and therefore probably a tough judge. It is very obvious she knows what she is doing and has an amazing touch. Incredibly relaxing yet restorative to the muscles. HIGHLY recommend! My husband really enjoyed his as well. The place was a little hard to find, it’s off the road behind a law firm that is road frontage. We had seen she’s the best in town, and I totally agree. Book with her!”

“Wonderful. Fantastic. We enjoyed Arbor Creek so much that we extended our stay. So quiet peaceful and relaxing. The hot tub and fire pit are great. We like the pool but it is too cold to swim in. There is not a dishwasher so we ate out a lot but did grill one night. Lot of nice amenities. Great place we look forward to staying again. The deer were awesome to see so many. So cute.”

“Our little family of my wife, our young daughter, and our two pups stayed here for a week while I worked remotely and she finished up her maternity leave. It was a great getaway. The park was quiet, clean, everything was as expected per the website, wifi was GREAT for working, and the owner Sally was a dream to work with. We would highly recommend this place and can't wait to get back to Wimberley!”

“Amenities 10/10 Food 10/10 Hospitality and customer service 100/10 Customer service is something i am most critical of (usually internally to myself). From the moment we booked they started the customer service experience by engaging via text message. This created a personal touch to a booking I had never experienced. It also made it much more appealing and easier to book “activities and Chefs meals” (which are delicious). What really impressed me was on our final night.. South Texas got hit with a rare freeze, and this created some unforeseen and unfortunate obstacles for the staff due to water lines and other mechanical issues that were affected by this. The staffs response starting with the GM Heather was most impressive to me. They aimed first to take care of each guest by servicing breakfast as usual and then they turned their attention to servicing the guest by offering things like credit for future stays etc. it would of been easy to fold and panic as a staff but they focused on the customers first and it was the best customer service experience I have witnessed. We will be back, many times! Thank you!”

“This place was great! No idea why people give bad reviews. It is an older property which is well maintained and has a lot of history. The room was clean, comfortable bed and well appointed with the normal amenities except a coffee maker. Front desk folks were welcoming and even gave an unexpected free bottle of bubbly. Close proximity to the swimming hole made for a perfect relaxing getaway. Town is also a few minutes away with plenty of food and shopping choices. Would stay here again.”

“We stayed here for 4 days/3nights. I didn't realize that this is a 2 story house in which you rent the top floor. The owners were on the bottom floor and I felt bad because I have a very noisy toddler. The home is nice and extremely close (walking distance) to the Blue Hole. The Blue Hole park is beautiful. We saw multiple deer and squirrels near the house. The house is nicely furnished, clean and well maintained. They provided enough bath amenities, Keurig coffee and tea was also provided. Kitchen was well stocked. Knives were sharp and pans were nice. Beds were comfortable. Water is soft. The house had a balcony with chairs and a small table that overlooked the backyard and creek. The backyard backs up to a small creek that has small fish. Very pretty property and area. This property would be a five star property if it had a clothes washer and dryer and if they provided more washcloths. We only had 2 washcloths for 3 people for our entire stay.”

“Excellent. For price we've paid more for less. Full kitchen, nice covered full porch where I sat reading sipping scotch & eating peanuts. Didn't get cold enough to light fire in fireplace tho😞. Dog friendly they loved it. Got to roam off leash just keep them close. Huge king size bed. TV with direct TV service. Surrounded by cedars & oaks. Excellent HQ to travel to many nearby places-wineries, distilleries, parks etc”
