Very friendly people that work there very helpful
I took my grandchildren there for many summers for the children's reading program. It's a great activity to do during summer break. Better yet, they learn how to use the library.
The girls here are so friendly and sweet. My boys really enjoyed the summer reading program.
This library is a huge community resource for a city where half of the population doesn't have the option to get broadband internet at home. What do we need to do to get the hours extended into the evenings for weekdays and weekends? How to we increase funding? Rural and urban america are divided by broadband access and the internet is a public utility, as critical as phone service and power. Dayton is growing fast and I hope our community resources grow with it.
After a large contribution to the project, the name of the library was changed to Edmund E. and Nida Smith Jones Library, later shortened to Jones Public Library. In 2010, the new Dayton Community Center/Jones Library building was built.
