“Several good things about North Park Chevrolet in Castroville. 1. Excellent trade and deal for trading in my 2020 Tundra for a 2022 Trail Boss. The team of Harrison Vaughn (General Manager) and Chuck Huffman (sales) knocked it out of the park. This was my first purchase here and I plan on coming back. 2. Ordered a Ranch Hand grill guard for the new truck through the dealership. Benny in parts kept me posted on its order status and made arrangements for it to be installed in a timely manner that fit my work schedule. Very much appreciated. 3. Giant "kudos" to Harrison Vaughn and the dealership for providing a shuttle service for customers. Due to the shuttle service I didn't have to take off any work time in getting my grill guard installed. I know nothing is "free" so I appreciate Harrison putting out the budget to make this happen. 3a. The shuttle driver, Aaron, was a really professional and enjoyable person to be around. He is a "get things done right" kind of guy who got me where I needed to when I needed to. Excellent driver as well (my background is military and LE so I'm not usually comfortable with other people driving). Hat's off to Aaron. 4. “I had a battery replaced at Christensen Tire & Automotive at 1407 E Belt Line Rd, Richardson, TX 75081 on December 2020. They put in an Interstate battery that had a 2-year warranty. I had problems with the battery not staying charged and I had it tested and it was bad. Christensen Tire & Automotive tried to charge me $178.59 for a new battery that was still under warranty. DO NOT GO TO Christensen Tire & Automotive because they will try to sell you snake oil and rip you off. They were going to get a new battery from Interstate Battery at no cost to them because the battery was under warranty and charge me for it. That is very deceitful. STAY AWAY FROM CHRISTENSEN TIRE & AUTOMOTIVE AT 1407 E BELT LINE RD, RICHARDSON, TX 75081. I came to Interstate Battery and showed my receipt from when I purchased it from Christensen Tire & Automotive (2020) and Interstate Battery told me it was still under warranty and that there would be NO charge for the battery. Pete was very helpful along with the other gentleman that tested my battery. They were both friendly and gave great customer service! I recommend coming to Interstate Battery for your battery needs. I'm not sure why there are all these negative comments about not getting a new battery that is under warranty. There are always two sides to a story. I never had a problem and I had a wonderful experience. Thank you. I told Ric I can barely afford one tire. He said "let me go check and see if I have a used tire for you" he came back with a used tire that still had the factory strip around the tire, it had to be new. Ric asked me if I would like the tire, I explained to him again my financial situation, how I had enough money for 1 tire. He rang it up and gave me the total, I wanted to cry, because the total was what I had saved for 1 tire.
