“I have been going to Dr. Nell for years, ever since I moved to Conroe. I've not had a bad experience yet. They take walk-ins, I've never had to wait more than 10-20 minutes, and the price is pretty average. I will be honest, the two ladies that are in the back where the eye exams take place aren't the friendliest of people, but they aren't the worst--this might be a no-go for some of you. But the staff at the front that are in charge of frames and fitting are absolutely wonderful! One of the reasons I like going there is that I feel very at ease, Dr. Nell is very kind and will explain everything he does, as he is doing it. There is a never a time I go where he doesn't ask me multiple times "Do you have any questions for me?" I really appreciate that. A lot of practices now are very cold and "in-and-out" type with their Doctors, this is why I have not gone elsewhere. If you're looking for a wholesome practice with a "family-feel", I would recommend Dr. Nell.”

I had hernia surgery last week and it was supposed to be laparoscopic procedure only, but he saw some issues following that procedure so he went in for the old fashioned fix with more cutting, which I didn’t expect but am grateful he didn’t let it go and delay me having to come back to fix things in the future. Dr. Johnson has been very caring and diligent in his post surgery follow-up, and I couldn’t be more at peace with his care.
