Awesome place to walk and unwind

Very well marked trail, also has multiple trails to go on. One of the trails ends up at double lake which was a treat from the usual trails that have no actual ending point. Just nice to walk and enjoy the bird sounds and explore nature. I would definitely recommend.

Great trail to walk. We meet a lot of nice people while out there walking the trails and a lot of great sites you just don't get in the city. Several different trails of varying lengths that you can choose to walk. Can't wait to go back again.

I hike the western sections of this trail pretty often, being close to home. This was my first time in the eastern end, and it was stellar! Lots of different species here that I don't see on the western end. Big Creek Scenic Area is well named. One of the prettiest sections I've hiked.

I can't say enough good things about each section of this trail I've hiked so far. The trail head has plenty of parking area. This particular section has some tree damage from hurricane Harvey which detoured the trail. The trees have since been cleaned up but the detour has become the new trail route. It has since been well marked like the remainder of the trail.
