Heather is extremely professional, knowledgeable, and well-trained. She is also straightforward, but kind in dealing with what can be a very sensitive issue for a lot of people. I have recommended her to numerous people whom I know, and anybody who is serious about improving their diet and health will be very happy with the results you will get from working with her. You definitely have to do your part, but that is the nature of dietary changes. She is absolutely first rate. I would not have made the progress I have had, which includes losing over 125 lb in 9-10 months, without her help and guidance.
With her assistance, along with a consistent exercise program and weight loss surgery, I'm off of all blood sugar medications (down from 4, with insulin being a real threat), cholesterol meds, and I'm only taking half of the blood pressure that I was taking at one point. I am hopeful to be off of that soon, too. None of this would have been possible without Heather's guidance helping me to manage a complete overhaul of my diet.

I found Practical Nutrition from my insurance company website. I needed help with understanding my diabetes. I was just diagnosed and wasn't sure what to do. Heather is an awesome dietitian. I enjoyed meeting her and I can't believe the amount of information she shared with me. She helped me clarify all the myths lurking around dieting and eating the right food. I have met with her three times already and I'm scheduling my next visit with her soon. Heather will help educate and even demonstrate the amount of food portions you should be eating. She made my life much easier and now I can enjoy eating foods I have considered "unhealthy" in the past.
