I tested the XM box loaded with their proprietary Kodi XM software - which streams media from proprietary XM servers, against an Amazon Firestick loaded with Kodi Exodus (the gold-standard free software). XM works way better. I get better HD quality than I do with Exodus, and without any buffering. Haven't got live TV working yet, but just for the on-demand viewing of TV shows and movies that I can't get on Netflix or Hulu, it's well worth the investment.”
