On my last trip August 31, 2018 I signed up for the free rewards program. Wish I had done it sooner. It saved me a BUNCH on two chapsticks. Probably 50%. “It's cool in this particular Family dollar, I've lived near it FOR A LONG TIME (several years) and the staff has changed a lot throughout the times. The merchandise there is in the variety spectrum. They have snacks, clothes, shoes, house appliances, home decor, home essentials and so much more. The prices are very affordable. The area is somewhat ghetto but it's conveniently located and if you're from around the area you know what to expect. Overall I like it, I enjoy the convenience, the staff is nice for the most part (some employees hate working there and you can tell), they have an application for your phone that can hook you up with discounts which is cool. I recommend it if you're in a rush and need some stuff or if you're around the area and just wanna browse.”

“I bought a wedding dress a month ago from David’s Bridal and it arrived 2 weeks ahead of schedule. I tried it on yesterday at home and was slightly panicked because it did not fit properly in the bust area. I called DB immediately to see if it made more sense to get a different size or get it tailored. The person who answered the phone was super calm and understanding. She booked me a same day appointment to work with the same stylist (Amber M.) I worked with to get the original dress. A few hours later I went into DB with my dress and worked with Amber again. Amber was amazing and so attentive. She made sure I was comfortable and got me the dress in another size to try on. She also went above and beyond to speak with their seamstress and give me a price quote. Overall, I decided to keep original dress and get it tailored. Amber made a follow-up alteration appointment for me and was so reassuring that everything would get done before my wedding day. Would recommend Amber (and the rest of the staff) to this DB location!”

“Lots of items. If you are stationed locally and need something they most likely have it. Flags, hats, stickers, shirts, pretty much everything you can think of they have. Some stuff dates back to World War 2 like their rifle bore cleaner. This stuff is authentic and it’s like walking into a museum or time capsule. If the wall could talk there would be some stories. They have an extensive camouflage uniform collection from all eras. Some of the stuff is slightly used but it’s a surplus store. You aren’t going to find this stuff anywhere. The staff that works there are very polite and knowledgeable on the stuff they sell. They can help you find stuff you need quickly. Answer questions and point you in the right direction. I served 20 active duty years in the military and have traveled the globe. This is one of the coolest surplus stores I’ve seen in a long time. Check them out. Even if you don’t buy anything. It’s just great to look around.”
