“The wait time to get into see the doctor is extremely long and you should probably set aside your whole day sitting in the office, but Dr. Gould is still the only urologist I will ever trust. After having kidney stone issues and pain for the better part of 8 years with every doctor telling me that I should not be feeling pain and that they were not going to help me, Dr. Gold was the only one who believed my pain. He scheduled a surgery to remove my kidney stones and we finally found the issue which did not show up on any scans. My ureters were extremely scarred from having reflux of the bladder as an infant, which caused liquid to be sitting in my kidneys and allowed the stones to crystallize more than in a normal person. We stretched them to remove the kidney stones and the relief was immediate. I started feeling intense kidney stone pain again 6 months later because my ureters started to shrink a little bit more again and went in for another surgery. It has been over a year and I have not had any pain. I am so glad that I found someone who trusted me and believed I had an issue even when so many others said I did not and let me live in pain for almost half my life.”
