They called several times (Geneva in particular) to make sure I was recovering just fine, and even helped me deal with an allergic reaction I was having to a dye that was used during my procedure. “My expierence with the FWOPC and the V.A. in general has been exceptional. I have had one complaint about the Pharmacy services not advising the Patient or Provider when the Pharmacy cannot fill the prescription. Other than that the treatment at both FWOPC and MCD has been great. Before complaining ask yourself is this a real health concern or am I complaining because my own comfort and convenience was disturbed. Please remember that the V.A. is doing the best it can with a limited budget and a limited number of qualified personnel. Many of the people at the clinics are volunteers, and "Thanks a bunch to them!". The rest are dedicated professionals who could go elsewhere and earn more money, but choose to make do with less and serve our vets the best they can under the circumstances. And I thank them all! When COVID-19 struck our community, the people I just praised looked up, saw a bunch of people trying to seek health care. So what did they do? They said 'Oh my God, there are sick people coming to this medical clinic, LOCK THE DOORS'. Did the same at the VA Dallas Medical Center.”
