“Every change we experience in our lives will always start in the mind. I believe this is just part of the human condition. For most of my life, my mind has been my own worst enemy. I have had great difficulty with self love and have relied on negative reinforcement for as long as I can remember. This pattern of behavior left me sad, angry, unsatisfied, and seemingly incapable of living the life I wanted for myself. I felt trapped/pent-up, and never wanted to give myself permission to let my true self out. As a 31-year-old man, I have been in therapy with more therapists than I can count on 2 hands throughout the course of my life. Very few of them were able to help me make significant life changes, and even fewer since I left college and moved out on my own. For me, the traditional style of talk therapy is just not conducive to affecting real, lasting change. David has helped me to accomplish this by reminding me that it's not my fault and never has been, and I don't have to keep beating myself up and holding myself back. He has helped me to see my true value and worth, which is something I can say I have rarely if ever seen. Words can't express how truly remarkable he is at what he does, and how natural it all feels. His services are also incredibly reasonable - I wish I had started seeing him sooner. “The entire installation took 3 times longer than it was supposed to but the lady at the front desk was very comforting, patient & even talkative to help pass the time. I was obviously out of energy but she still remained friendly and professional. Not only was she professional but she went out of her way to offer drinks and offered to give my friend a ride home when he was stuck there because the installation was behind. This woman was also in the back doing work with the installers & going over how the entire new system works, step by step with me to make sure I knew what I was doing. I hope this operation recognizes her importance.”
