“A quick weekend getaway to this lodge was a pleasant experience. It was very cold though the heat lamps on the outdoor patio helped to be able to sit outside and enjoy the lakeside views and fresh air. The food was tasty. The service was very friendly and prompt. The only disappointment was that menu was rather limited in it's offerings and unfortunately many of the menu item's were unavailable. Perhaps due to covid?”

“You know, I hate to not love this place. Great staff, great atmosphere, and lots of locals....but the prices are high compared to Brooklyn Heights at Avery Ranch. I think close to 150% higher in fact. Recently I spent $50 on 10 beers and 1 soda. The beers during HH were $4+ each for a plastic cup and the soda was $2 for a can. On the up side, they do have big beers for the same price but when the water went out last week in Austin we got served plastic cups at the same price...no consideration for the smaller size. Like I said, I really like this place but after going so many times, really taking care of the staff, and then getting a $50 tab for $30 worth of beer? Sorry...had to vent. Will be back. Just thought they had my back.”

“This is my new favorite restaurant! This place is so good, creative, classy, and fine dining at a fair price. My husband and I had such a fun night. Greg was our server, and he was fabulous! He totally made our experience the best. We had quail for an appetizer, wine, lamb, and duck. It was a fun and very enjoyable evening. Great for a time to celebrate, events, or dinner for two. We will be back often with friends. Delicious!!!”

“The staff is great and always friendly. Great hours and they keep the schedule updated online, so that’s greatly appreciated. While they have done some renovations, they are normally a bit slow and out of stock of a lot of things. It might be a lack of shoppers that causes a lack of inventory...but maybe some FB advertising would help with that. It would also be really nice to have a gas station on the base. I would give it 5 starts, but the place is very dated and leaves you wanting more...pretty much every time you visit.”

“I had a certain gentleman make me a burrito as he would prefer and it was awesome. I jokingly called it the "Matthew." This was a great choice and I suggest you ask for it if you like a spicy burrito!! The service was prompt, courteous and tasty; there isn't much more you could want for a hungry belly. Lastly, and most impressively, I heard this gentleman repeatedly compliment and encourage his teammates as they worked through the lunch rush. Kindness and respect for one another is hard to come across these days, but it seems to be in abundance at this establishment. I put in my order via the app at 10am, I ask for my order to be delivered between 11:15 and 11:30 because my lunch is at 11:30, but most of the time my order is delivered at 11:00. Otherwise everything is great, but it's just a little annoying that they never deliver it in the time period I ask for it to be delivered.”
