“Cold Harbor is a civil war battlefield that its estimated 5,000 Confederate troops and 13,000 Union troops died. GRANT called the 3 attack he ordered the biggest mistake he made. 5000 Union troops were killed in 30 minutes. Now the area is a park with foot trails, displays and quiet solitude except for the ghosts of the battles. On the road trail you will see Confederate and Union trenches and battlements. The photos are of the park as you drive through. The park visitors center was closed because of the cronovirus.”
