“The hot food kitchen serves up all the classics. They do cut off breakfast very early. Depending if you speak spanish you will have 5 star experience or 3 star experience. The kitchen staff could be friendlier. But they are nice enough. They want to move quick so don't hold up the line... Be decisive when it's you turn to order. The ready to grab sandwich meals and tamal are basic but convenient. Other than that expect a normal ethic grocery store experience.”

“It’s a little surprising that a community as small as Lago Vista has two hardware stores, but I can’t complain. While both are great the employees at Sun Hardware tend to be a bit older with a bit more experience, giving them an edge in terms of helpfulness. They also have always been very kind and the store has never been so busy as to make it hard to find help. They also refill propane by the pound rather than requiring you to swap out your tank which is often a fair bit cheaper.”

“My favorite nail salon in Austin!!! I’ve been living in Austin since 2017 and I have exclusively been coming to Luxe Nails since then. It’s relatively close to the UT campus (about a 10 minute drive) on Burnet. I actually moved to South Austin and I STILL make the drive up to get my nails done here because I just don’t trust any other place. The first time I was a walk-in they were really busy, so I decided to come back the next day and I’m glad that I did because it was well worth it :) The best part about this salon is that I feel comfortable with whomever is doing my nails, like, all of them have been doing nails for a long time and they are all great at what they do. I’ve literally never had a bad experience here. The salon is always clean and sanitary, especially right now during COVID. I appreciate Luxe Nails so much!!!”

The ensuing damage required our having to change out our flooring. Our insurance company recommended a different flooring company. The sales rep of the other company was disappointingly unenthusiastic and offered mediocre help. They were not kingly at all. So we went back to Landers Premier Flooring; what a difference! They organised the demolition of the original flooring and helped me coordinate booking the other tradespeople. Their entire staff are lovely and their installation teams are superb. “November 19, 2021 6:20 pm God honor's the hearts of those who love and obey him. I was home trying to find the lowest priced tires and thought, God please help me find good prices? Went to Big O'S tires, trying to find the lowest priced tires. I needed 4 tires. I finally found four at $ 122 each. So I asked if there was a senior discount, or veterans discount, he said $10. In the meantime, another man came over and needed to get on the computer, and the guy working with me, almost started arguing with him and then asked for my phone number, then the other guy started typing on my account, then they started whispering back and forth. I thought they were going to charge me more. I thought to myself I wouldn't get upset, and be patient. He said please hold on for a minute and I'll get really good prices Boy Was I Wrong, after about five minutes He handed me a receipt and said that the other guy next to me, had just paid for all four tires not the $122 tires but the other ones that were more. IM STILL CRYING 😂 correction we are still.
