The quesadilla with chicken, rice and beans was absolutely delicious!!! The skinny Margarita was a perfect drink to round off a great meal. Very reasonable prices and generous portions. “My family and I stayed at the Uptown suites in Austin, Texas. Our home was delayed and we were not sure how long we would need to stay. Staying here was the best decision I made, during this very stressful time. Everyone was amazing, friendly and professional. Everyone from the front desk, maintenance and especially the wonderful cleaning ladies! The building is pretty new and being well kept and maintained. In the almost year we stayed, we had seen the carpets cleaned and touch up paint where needed, they had all the AC units serviced and were very good at communicating what to expect. They cleaned our room weekly and provided us with soap, towels and toilet paper. I do suggest you bring your own pillows and utensils. We used an instant pot daily. The fridge is a nice size and their are a good amount of cabinet space and storage but no counter space for meal prep. If you need a temporary place to stay, uptown suites is there to help take some of your stress and anxiety away at a pretty reasonable price.”

“Came in and was immediately greeted and seated. So off the bat service is excellent. The menu had quite the offering including gator, frog legs, and poutine. I had the shrimp creole and the sauce was spicy but in a good way, fresh crunchy bell peppers, onions, and good shrimp. The chicken fried chicken was also nice and crunchy with the chicken being well cooked. The potato salad was also very fresh, just made? And the fries, one of the better basket of fries I've eaten (would recommend)! Will absolutely come back again and be a bit more adventurous.
