While we waited they brought us free donut holes which was another special treat for the birthday girl. Everyone is so friendly and the donuts are so good. Try the one with bacon! “1st Donuts has a large variety to choose from, that most Donut shop don't offer. Like the sausage bacon kolache and a delicious spinach pastry. The donuts are awesome. “The store was great to shop! Even a butter spread I didn’t even know was made...honey and cinnamon butter. Others too. Love Nature’s Own but it is almost $3 in the store. You know why things are so much less, it’s overflow bread. So the store’s volume varies depending on grocery stores in the area. They even have farmers and ranchers that feed bread to their animals. My fiancé feeds it to his ducks and geese IF he can keep it from a swarm of seagulls! As for the help usually only 1 person working and there’s a lot of people getting truckloads to take home to their farm animals in the back. Sometimes pickings are slim cause the cows will be eating good tonight! Never know what people are going through , especially in these times. A child in the hospital with COVID-19 might upset your frame of mind too.”
