“If you need an excellent pediatric/adolescent dental practice, this is the practice for you! I do not say this without some experience dealing with dentists as my family is in the dental business, two Dentists and one dental hygienist. My standards for dental care is very high. Designed with the younger dental patient in mind from start to finish, this practice will make your child's dental visit the best experience possible, even if coming in with a bad dental situation. All office staff from the front office, hygienist, and doctor are professional and child and parent-friendly. The play area is nice, but the front office knew to offer an iPad immediately, which help decreased anxiety for treatment of a significant dental problem. Reducing stress and increasing relaxation is a big score in my book. This treatment was only the beginning of their excellent customer service and patient personal connection from all staff member's encounters. Dr. Yamoah is not only what you want as a dentist specializing in pediatric dentistry; he is something you need for your child's dental health. He is gentle, kind, patient, playful, competent, high level of practice skill level, and genuinely interested in his patients and parents. All his staff reflects the same care that Dr. Yamoah gives. There was a glitch in our dental insurance on our first visit, and the front office with the Dr worked through the problem diligently with a good solution, never making me feel uncomfortable. It is also remarkable that Dr. Yamoah is a Denton-raised local who came back to serve the dental needs of this community. I 110% recommend this practice for all your Pedi dental needs....I only wish he did adults, as this practice is lots of cool fun!”

I had the pleasure of having Kristy do my cleaning and she was very considerate of my teeth sensitivity and still did an amazing job on my cleaning. She took the time to show me my x-rays and explained everything to me so that I could understand what I would need for treatment. Dr. Anderson was great. She also came in during my appointment and went over my results and she was very kind and descriptive as well. I've never been to such a thorough place. “I’ve been going here for years. I love everything about this office. They are thorough and have got me through an entire tooth replacement with surgical post and crown. They lean on the side of conservative dentistry meaning not rack up a massive bill with a bunch of add ons. They possess modern tech instruments but are not gimmicky. Dr. Leftwich is kind and empathetic to every issue I’ve had. I go regularly for cleanings and checkups and all my appointments have been consistently the same which is the best possible outcome and to me means they have refined the customer experience. Also I will add I have never waited upon my arrival more than 2 minutes to be taken back which to me is important and signifies they equally value my time.”

When I first took him here he had a few pretty bad cavities that were giving him some moderate pain, the dentist installed a few crowns and was very gentle and professional and my son was so happy that he didn't have any more pain! Another time my son had a severe toothache and was in a lot of distress. The next morning I called Kids Smiles and even though they were totally booked they found some time to see him right away, turns out it was just a new tooth coming in a little rough - what a relief! But I was so grateful they were able to make sure he was taken care of.”

“First time at Dr. Purdy's office, after my previous dentist closed. I had asked for referrals on Facebook. Friends gave me a few along with this one but the first 2 I called first, would not be able to get me in until September or when the first solstice of the universe came through!!😁 I am so glad the others could not take me until then!! It had to be a God thing!! I had an ABSOLUTELY AMAZING experience!!! I kind of knew I would have a great experience after speaking with the reception when I first called to ask questions and "maybe" make the appointment! Jeanette (sp?) Was patient with me the 3 times we spoke on the phone while I was trying to decide whether or not to go. Then, I got there, she was at the reception office and was wonderful to me. I the met Dr. Purdy who is fantastic!! He is sassy, funny and has a terrific chair side manner! He made me feel at ease. Explained everything he was going to do and was doing while doing it! This is super important to me. I highly recommend this office!! Not only because of the amazing work he did, but most importantly because of the way each and every person i had contact with in that office made me feel at ease!!! On the financial side: I have dental insurance but their they have you pay on first visit, then file with insurance and reimburse what insurance pays. This made me nervous at first (hence, the 3 phone calls with Jeanette!) How ever, I had the typical XRay, exam and filling done at a great price!! I am over the moon about finding my new dentist and his staff!! I have been to many dentists in my 56 years of life, I can tell you vehemently and with much confidence, I HIGHLY reccomend Dr. Purdy's dental office!!💯👍”

“Ortho can be scary for kids who are nervous about dental visits. Dr. Bietsch and his wife took SUCH great care of our daughter on that first evaluation and have been so wonderful on every subsequent appointment. I fully prepared myself for the worst by watching videos and trying to think of all the scary things and how to coach my daughter through it - but in reality, it was a 30 minute appointment to get an expander in and teach me how to turn it and she felt ZERO pain! Can't recommend this team enough. They truly care for your kids and we are HUGE fans!”
