“Usually busy, and one is able to go in and out in a reasonable amount of time. This store has specialty candy like Mexican candy, and other specialty snacks available as well as they sell bread, and fast food inside. They have an 'elote' (corn in a cup) stand outside most days too. A small downside is that most customers don't practice social distancing, don't wear face masks and this place is usually busy, and even staff don't practice safety. There's no pvc (plastic) protector separator between checkout area to separate the employee and the customer. Decent place with lots of options.”

“The most fulfilling refueling experience ever. The station is mostly clean and offers convenient trash cans in several areas. I've used at least four different pumps at this location. While not overly friendly, the pumps always function properly...plus there's never any awkward conversation required. Just pump and go. The machines rarely run out of receipt paper, but if they do, the guy in the little office is always handy with a receipt, as long as you refuel during office hours. Excellent selection of gasoline fuels, from regular, to mid-grade and all the way up to premium. For those with more extravagant fuel tastes, a full menu of various full additives is on offer...all of which can seamlessly be added to your fuel purchase. I could go on and on. Several soapy water buckets with squeegees are placed strategically around the fueling center, ready for windscreen cleaning. Paper towel dispensers are located near each squeegee station for hand and/or dip stick cleaning. And ice...they have a very good selection of optional 10 pound bags of ice for purchase.”

“Clerk was nice. Stopped here cause I was running on fumes & desperately needed a fill-up. Decent restrooms. This Valero had their window-washing reservoirs filled w/ample H₂0 today. Gas prices very competitive w/ nearby competitors, thus often busy gas pumps when I drive by. Valero is business companions with Corner Store / Circle K at this location. Easy to access from east-bound Slaughter - not so much from west-bound.”
