“Regardless of having to wait an hour to couple of hours the three times that I've gone to get my driver's license renewed, yeah the lines were horrible and yeah the second time I went I made it to be the fifth person in line after standing an hour and a half for the line to be shut down completely for me to have to return the following day but I will tell you this the lady that helped me the very first time and the third time that I made it in was beyond awesome she was so sweet and generous that I forgot how long I even waited in the line. She was not rude she had a smile and she kept her head high in the midst of all the chaos. The very first time I was there I was not able to renew my license but only get an ID and upon that situation I needed two proofs of residence not once did she turn me away she allowed me to go to my vehicle and come back and get back to her counter and not go back in line. I feel like we have to take into consideration it's not the employees who work there rather just a faulty system and we're all humans lets try to keep positive even when you feel it's a mess. I feel like what makes the lines a lot longer are people who bring the companionship partners with them to stand in line with them, I don't think they realize how much space that takes up for the people who need to get things done. For example a woman was in line there with her four kids and so other people couldnt even get what they needed done since after taking her and the kids in, they reached their capacity for the building and then the office was shut down for the remaining of the day. I was that person in line to be next, go figure that. I get that if it's hard to have people watch your kids while you're taking care of these things but maybe a waiting room could be added on for the people who are just there to be there like kids considering they can only take 10 people in at a time and the waiting room only hold a certain amount. What I also saw were people waiting in line and then an hour goes by and somebody else drives up and came to "give them something" and stands in the line with them. That happened to me on the third time she was there for companionship of course, I was next in line that time also! They got to go in and thank goodness it was not shut down after that or I would of had a small calf . Long story short I applaud my lady who waited on me and I'm very grateful towards her for serving me with a smile to forget about that dreadful line.”
