They are usually friendly but it is a business and they want their money just as you would. Pay on time and be in good standing with them and there wont be issues.”

I would stay there again for the value, location and management, however, a new oppt'y sends me closer to the Garland Inn town Suites location 😀. Cleaning crew and maintenance were great as well. “We had our wedding here in June and we couldn't have asked for a better venue. The place was just beautiful. We absolutely loved being able to have all our friends and family stay on property with us. The communication was quick and efficient. The staff truly took care of us. They clearly cared and weren't just after a profit. The rooms and boats were super easy to rent and were well taken care of. The town of Pilot Point was so cute and cozy but the drive to Denton was perfect for any last minute necessities you couldn't find in town. I believe that the prices were right in line for the services we received. I also loved how patriotic the Lodge was and appreciative to military members. If I had to do it all over, I would pick Lone Star Lodge again.”

“They are the sweetest people that run this establishment. When I didn't have enough money for my deposit because I had cash only he let it slide and I appreciate that because I wasn't expecting to have a deposit fee so with that being said that meant a lot right off the Jump. Secondly the rooms are massive the beds are comfy maybe a little too big in fact and I'm a big person so I'm 6'2 and my feet did not hang off the bed and I loved it. The only thing that was bad was the orange juice it was old so it was not very good and it didn't settle very well but it didn't make me sick so that's okay anyhow I suggest this place they're great people great patrons and not a lot of drug activity whatsoever which is even better and if you don't mind pot that's the only thing that you can smell.”

“My boyfriend and I stayed at Camp Lucy to celebrate our anniversary & Fourth of July weekend. We had the absolute best time. The rooms are a dream, so clean and cozy. I told the front desk we were celebrating our anniversary and they had a bottle of wine and a sweet card in our room to help us celebrate. We had a slight issue with our bath tub and they had it fixed in less than 30 minutes. We did the wine tour with Laurel and she was excellent. I find it rare these days to find accommodations, service, food and ambiance that live up to the price but Camp Lucy absolutely did. If you’re looking to get away from the city for a relaxing weekend, this is your place. Big thank you to the staff, every single person we encountered was helpful and lovely. We look forward to our next stay!”

Thank you for all the information. The road in, yes it's a little rough but it's a campgrounds. It's first come fist choice. Spot 220 is great, we did not need Sewer for the one night.
