“Love it! FHU 30/50amp long gravel spaces. It’s brand new... Laundry on site. Dollar General next door, convenient to Gainesville and Whitesboro. The owner is super nice... He just built a huge doggy park and has some fruit and flower trees planted. I would definitely stay here again if we are in the area!”

“This place is awesome. Clean and very helpful. We didn't have a grill, but when I asked she bought one over. Mrs. Bonnie is a very sweet lady. The neighbors next to use were respectful of the peace and quiet and kept it like that. It was like at home. There is a bird feeder on the tree to watch them feed. Off to the left is a beautiful pond. Only one RV was here when we were here, the rest of the cabins were full.”

“Cabins can sleep 2-3 persons. If you have 4 or more, multiple cabins necessary. Shady, with good views of the prairie or water hole. Animals crowd there at dusk and before dawn. Lots of activity. Great sunset, goodly number of stars. Great stay for grandkids or kids. Taking "behind the scenes tour is a great addition. Purchase of campground visits gives you free admission to park. Breakfast included. May look pricey, but with all you get, it is a bargain. Plus it helps the animals and humans learn alot.”

“In my 56 years I’ve never once left a review for anything. This hotel and its Manager Jacky have been so wonderful I felt compelled to write this review. I flew in for a funeral and spent four days at a Best Western in Burleson. There was nothing wrong with the best western and I stay with them often, but as a comparison, this hotel and my room here were far superior. This is in fact an older hotel, so if you are expecting new that will not be the case. But if you are expecting a clean comfortable room, you will not be disappointed. I always read the reviews of new hotels before I decide to book a room. And I almost didn’t stay here because of one of the reviews. Most of the members of our family are staying here so I decided if it wasn’t horrible I would go ahead and get the room. One family member had already checked in and I asked what it was like. They said it’s older, but it’s clean. So hearing that I walked in to get my room and two others for family members. The first thing I noticed was that the lobby, bar, and breakfast room were very clean. I actually checked them first before I committed to the room. Jacky the manager and I think he is the owner as well, was very professional and he knew from the other family member why we were here. He made every effort to get us all on the same floor and with connecting rooms if possible. He even gave us discounted rates and he surely didn’t have to. Once I went up to my room, I was extremely impressed. The detail in the room, such as the way they ornately hang the towels was a great touch, and a sign of the great management this hotel has. I went down stairs to tell Jacky in person how impressed I was, and that I almost didn’t stay here because of that one review. I told him he must be a great manager, as attitude reflects leadership, and the employees here all have great attitudes and work ethic. That evening my daughter went and had some drinks in the bar and was crying. He was very kind and tried to console her. I have walked out of hotels before for being dirty, and I am so glad I had the opportunity to stay at this hotel. If I ever need to stay in Weatherford, TX again, I will make it a point to stay here. If you want a super high end and expensive stay, this is not your place. But if you want cleanliness, comfort and value, then the Clarion is the perfect place for you.”

“I called Mike requesting an inspection on a 40 ft. Motor coach that we were considering buying. He was very friendly and helpful on the phone and was able to get us scheduled within just a few days. He showed up on time and sent us a very thorough inspection report the same day. He answered all our questions and was very easy to communicate with. “I did not purchase any products - this review is based solely on the interaction that I had with the business. We were driving through town, on our way to our campsite and saw that there were a lot of interesting shops in Castroville. Seeing that I had my dogs with me, we thought treats would be nice so we detoured to investigate. When we pulled up, we saw that they were loading up their vehicle to prep for a huge festival. The owner stopped everything she was doing, to greet us and talk to us. She was going to go through her stuff and get my pups something. She then asked about allergies, which my sensitive boxer/pit mix has tons of - we found out the treats were not going to work. So instead, she tells us to wait. She runs in and brings us a set of holiday wrapped coffee mugs and a couple of tennis balls for the dogs. Unfortunately, we did not get to try any of the treats. But this is the kind of business that we should all support. Thank you, for making our stop memorable.”

“Super pet friendly, great spot if you need to be in the middle of everything! Staff is also always so nice! I had a fantastic experience here with my dog! I stayed here for three nights, and wow. So we start off with the super clean workout area which has pretty flexible hours (something like 6am to midnight) which is great because when you’re traveling its even harder to make time for yourself. The hotel also has an elevator which was a lifesaver because my dog is a senior girl who cant really get up stairs. The staff was absolutely phenomenal, we were checked in in about five minutes and we were very early so it was super nice of them to let us check in early. The hostess also recommended different restaurants nearby and was overall providing great service. The room was great for the price, wifi was spotty but that is sadly all hotels. Room was clean and spacious and we literally never ran out of towels because the staff was super helpful. Ac was super powerful considering we were there when the weather was constantly 90+ degrees daily. Tv was nice and we plugged our own devices into it which added a lot to the stay. The stay also comes with breakfast which was nothing to scoff at as there were so many options anywhere from bagels to cereal to scrambled eggs. They covered a lot of drink bases as well with juice coffee and tea. Overall when we come back we will be 100% staying here again!”
