There were dead tree limbs all over. It would make for a great movie location for an abandoned RV park, maybe zombies would walk out around a corner. I would be nervous to park my truck over night.”

“A hidden gym off the beaten path. The spacious common area is surrounded by an open kitchen, dining room, casual living room, all surrounding a large table perfect for social gatherings. The bedroom was nicely decorated and very comfortable. The ensuite bathrooms are gorgeous. Ours even had 2 shower heads. Each room has a private patio with wooden rockers to see the sunset. The icing on the cake was the hospitality provided by Leslie.”

“The Wildflower was the best decision we could have made while planning our wedding. The Wildflower was the only venue we toured, and we knew it was the one. The event center is ✨magical.✨You barely have to bring any decorations, because the event center is already so beautiful. As far as planning goes, The Wildflower is almost a one stop shop! Carley, the owner, has her flower business Feverfew and Co, and she provided us with the most beautiful flowers for our big day. We hired Wild Weddings to run our bar and to rent their PA system, and Chelsea and her husband even helped us clean up afterwards! Melissa made us the most gorgeous wedding cake, and it was also delicious. We also added on a picnic breakfast for the morning after the wedding, and everything was so yummy. All of these people live on property! And I cannot forget to mention Natalie, the event planner. You can tell she genuinely cares about your love story and your big day. She is so accommodating, and her planning meetings were so helpful. Even though we had a smaller wedding, I don't think I would have been able to plan everything without her guidance and support. We stayed in the Cactus Flower cabin for two nights, and we loved it. We were greeted each morning by allll of the chickens and peacocks! We cannot wait to come back and stay on property again. I cannot recommend The Wildflower enough. You will not find a better price for a hill country wedding, and you will not find nicer people to help make your big day the best day ever.”

“I really enjoyed staying at Sundowner. It’s was super peaceful and picturesque. The sunsets were amazing, and we loved walking to the back wooded area to sit and just talk. The faculty are welcoming and always have a smile on their faces. I love that there are storage units here. I used it as my walk-in closet, my huge walk-in closet haha. The entire park is super clean, and so are the restrooms. Another perk was that it felt like a gated community. Having a gate code was great as well. It made for an experience that felt safe. “Very quite & peaceful. Mostly nice mobile homes here. However, they're packed so tightly in here that we don't really have a yard, or much room at all to build a fenced in area for the dogs. If you don't mind that & having very close neighbors, it's a great park to live in. We feel safe here letting my 9 year old niece walk home from the bus stop, & safe in general.”

“I’m giving this four stars because the room was very clean and check-in was easy. And the rates were very fair. Parking was free and a piece of cake too. We could park just footsteps away from the room. The rooms were nicer than I expected and they had a mini fridge and microwave and arm chair with a large ottoman. Our room also add had HBO. The biggest issue was how wiggly the mattress was. If the other person even so much as a wiggled a foot, the whole bed shook. So would we go back there if we were in that area again? Likely, but I would be sure to get two different beds for us or remember to bring an air mattress for myself.”

They gave me a big room in the corner so it was easy for me to take them out and they wouldn't bother anyone. They are very kind and I really love the location.”

“The staff is so friendly and helpful and I see them running around all the time working to keep this place top notch. They keep pretty good hours in the office so there is almost always someone to help if you need anything and if there is an emergency I've seen the staff here working away to get it fixed. The facilities have stayed very clean the whole time I've been here. Bathrooms are in my opinion usually a good measure of how clean a place is and the bathrooms here are cleaned daily(or close to it). Laundry is a breeze here. It is all paid for through an app so you don't have to worry about keeping cash and quarters. All the washers and dryers work great. The pool and hot tub are great. They also have small dog parks in almost every corner of the park. The spots are clean and offer plenty of room. I have a 29' trailer and could easily still park 3 vehicles and have room for my "porch" out front. Power and water are reliable. They have had to shut the water off for emergency and maintenance purposes from time to time but never very long. The free wifi is okay for browsing but you're not going to do much more than that. They offer faster internet packages for streaming that are pretty reasonable.”

“The Yurtopian was amazing. We stayed in Len Gar, which sits up high and the view from the roof top balcony was awesome. Our area had everything we needed and during our 4 days/3 nights here we only went to town to eat 2 meals, enjoy some shopping and some hiking at Jacob's Well, which was all really close. The rest of the time we enjoyed our secluded area at Yurtopia. The kitchen supplies allowed us to cook some amazing meals. My wife enjoyed every minute we were here and hate to leave but we will definitely find a time to come back.”

I called and explained that I had previously stayed there that night and was looking for another day. Man at front desk was so rude and specified he had no rooms. Not sure how you had no more rooms with an empty parking lot. Definitely need a better desk clerk with no attitude. He is not a people person and if He was the owner he could surly learn to treat everyone with Kindness. Not sure I would recommend this facility. 4 stars was given before I had the conversation with desk clerk. Sad sad”

“My husband, myself, and Molly (our golden retriever) spent 2 years here and loved every minute of it. If we hadn’t built a new home I would have been happy to stay forever. The managers were fabulous and the neighbors were so friendly. Never felt so welcomed and belonging as we did living there. “A very nice RV park, with friendly folks. It's pretty quiet besides the noise of Highway 281. We used to have little get togethers on the regular. Set on the bench next to the cabin with a BBQ some beers, & dice. Eventually the neighbors would start showing up. Sometimes we would have to grab another bench because of all the neighbors coming by. I recall one time we had 3 benches together. We became friends with most of these fine folks. It really was a highlight for me when I came to Texas. I look back at these times wistfully, with great reverence. But I do hear that manager they have there. Has very little compassion or empathy for people helping their loved ones in a time of need.”

“We LOVED our stay! So much that we are planning another trip out there. To start, they have their family story on the refrigerator and it was such an moving, inspiring story. I loved reading it. The RV was perfect. Everything was labeled which was helpful to know what was there. The master bed is SO comfortable!! The heater works amazing! Nice pressure in the shower and the water got hot fast. It was truly the perfect space for us. Great for families too. Master bedroom is on the other side from the other room with the other beds. We loved the farm animals! We got to walk around to learn about them. The hosts are wonderful people! They chatted with us for a while and we truly enjoyed our conversation with them. It felt like we were talking with friends. We learned so much about the farm, the animals and the family. I can’t say enough great things about the hosts, the space and the farm. We will be back!!”
