“Wow. My fiance and I spent three nights at the Love Shack in December 2022 (Xmas Eve and Xmas). We purchased the come early/stay late, romance, and charcuterie packages and were not disappointed. We were amazed at the views, the yurts, and the hospitality. Mallory was very easy to communicate with and quick to respond. Tuck was a stand-up guy and helped us with propane for the fire and fixed a water problem (due to freezing temps) twice in record time. The Yurt was plenty warm even when the wind chill was -1DF (same can be said for the water). When we weren't relaxing in the Yurt, we went in a hike, went to Salt Lick BBQ, and visited Gruene, TX. This trip was definitely worth the price and we will be telling all our friends about it.”

“My hubs and I stayed here Friday Jan 12 2018 for my husbands 29th birthday. Our stay was awesome. We loved the room. It was quaint and cozy. The history behind the room was so interesting and made it even better. The owners are the sweetest people. I love that they have such a laid back process where you leave a check when you leave your room to pay. So easy and straight forward. We spent the evening watching one of our favorite bands play in down town dripping springs and it was just a short walk for us to get there. Lastly, we enjoyed that she had the most delicious banana bread loaf there waiting for us when we arrived. “We have stayed here many times now and we love it! Most of the staff is very friendly and helpful. We always stay in the cottages. As we go to Rockport to fish, it's very helpful that they are close to the water, and have a private pier too. So nice to have a full kitchen so we can prepare food for us and our dogs. Appreciate so much that they are dog friendly and don't charge an arm and a leg to bring our boys with us. The only small complaint we have is that it seems we can't get the same story on cost and fees for the stay. We were given a total and an email stating that total and then when we got there we were told it would cost more for the dogs. If you give a "Total" and the email says this is your total with all fees then it should be that amount. Especially after we discussed bringing the dogs and how much it would be prior to making the reservation. However, we still love it and will stay there again should we have the opportunity.”

“Amazing RV park. Feels like you are FAR away from the city but it's only a 5 minute drive to Meyers Smokehouse or 7 mins to HEB. We LOVED the pool. Sorry for random picture but this guy was there making sure everything was clean and ready for guests to enjoy! Also I heard there are new owners and lots of improvements coming in the not too distant future.”

“We stayed in our travel trailer here for 3 months. Julia, the office/park manager was a life-saver! At the ladt minute, late on a Saturday she told us to park it and Monday we'd sort it out. After having been ripped off at a "resort" in Austin this was a huge blessing. The park is CLEAN. There is a lawn service who does a great job. We were on an end and loved it! There were no dogs loose. No dogs barking. We moved because it was 45-60 minute commute to hubs office... so now we are half the distance. However, no concrete pads. Dirt and rocks! Julia keeps everything together. Classy, efficient lady.”
