“I rarely take the time to post a review. I always have good intentions but I let life get in the way and I forget. Today is not the case. I have been coming to this campground for years as it is so well maintained and managed. But what really keeps me coming back are the hosts. In particular this last year, Lee and Rich. They have been amazing! They go out of their way to ensure my stay here at the Vineyards is memorable. I just wanted to take the time to say thank you to Lee and Rich and the entire staff at the Vineyards. I will be spreading the word!!! Grateful….”

“Great getaway. Owners are awesome and go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. If you go on a motorcycle just watch out for gravel driveway. Bed was very comfortable and kitchen had everything you need. Can't wait to go back.”

“We have stayed here for over a year now and couldn’t be more satisfied. The management/owners are approachable and very friendly. The folks that live here in general keep to themselves and work full time. Our favorite part of the park is that there is space in between spots. There are lots of trees and camping spots are not crowding out the natural beauty of the hill country. The park is rustic yet at the same time the owners are slowly transforming it. They are aware of what needs to be done but it is better than it was, when we first moved in. We take our laundry into town and use a laundromat in town. The location is wonderful too. Really happy to be here.”

“Definitely warm and cozy. It is dated and feels like you stepped back in time. Not a bad thing in my book especially given the daily stresses of the fast paced city life. Dog friendly and the view is amazing being right on Cypress Creek.”

“Took a depressed friend and his depressed children to the beach so that they can mess with my metal detector and have some fun they enjoyed it very much even if they found nothing but bottle caps pull tabs an aluminum foil.... they were smiling and having fun that they have deserved for many years and have not had... I am happy to see them all smile and slowly coming out of their depression.. this makes my heart Happy that I may serve God's will .”

“This park is amazing! The couple running the campground are very helpful and friendly. They are amazing! The park is kept clean and you have your own fenced in yard. It's perfect for pets. There is a waiting list to get on to get into the park. It's worth the wait! Thank you cedar meadow rv park for the hard work and effort you put into your park to make everyone's stay enjoyable!”

“Quiet peaceful country setting. All utilities work as they should. Owner is very helpful and friendly. Propane refill on site. Tennant are mostly full time truck drivers who are quiet and respectful. Easy drive into San Antonio for site seeing. We very much enjoyed our week stay while site seeing in San Antonio.”

“I use to live here,I'm really emotional too see these pictures again.I really miss Irving but sometimes things come in life and change.Thousand oaks is a great place, I had spent most of my life in my house but sadly my parents needed a new job and we had to move. But this place is great there might be flaws but nothing majorly bad.”

“The cabins are old and very basic painted cinder blocks, brick, and drywall, but ours was clean. The location is right on the water, with a pier across the street. The owners were friendly. For what we paid, and what we read in the reviews, we were happy. No bugs--we did leave the lights in the front room on to discourage them, because I grew up on the coast and know some tricks. It was close to good food options and the Fulton Mansion. Overall, compared to the price range, we enjoyed it. If you grew up in luxury, you may not like it, but otherwise, its good.”

“Great course in New Braunfels. Clubhouse is stocked with friendly staff. Carts are near the parking lot for immediate access. Driving range and putting greens are nice. Tee boxes, fairways, bunkers, and greens are in excellent condition. House like the fairways so accuracy is a must or else risk dinging someones house.”

“Surprised by Grandeur A one night stay was needed for my wife and I in the Round Rock area and booked a night here. When we arrive wiggling around the Round Rock Premium Outlets where this hotel is located next to the Bass Pro Shops. I was expecting a mid range hotel but from the outside looked a bit luxurious with nice curb appeal, and bronze statues of horses all over in front and back. The parking is free and the lobby impressive for such a small hotel. It was large with plenty of seating with on-site restaurant called Bar Louie, along with a lobby bar, and what looks like future setup for another restaurant. We were professionally greeted and checked in. Our room was a mini suite which was very impressive. The whole place looked new and fresh. Like having a separate bedroom from the living space with two separate large TVs. The only issue I experienced was the batteries were missing from the remote control, but went downstairs and was provided with some. As for downstairs we hit it just in time where at 5:00 PM the lobby bar has happy hour with a complementary drink and appetizer which was chips and assortment of dips. We did also have a nice snack at Bar Louie before heading back to the room and noticed an indoor pool. The next day we checkout super early and for our brief stay we had a nice experience, and later recommend it to another person looking for a place to stay in that area.”

“Spent several awesome days here with my son and his family. With drought conditions drying up the Medina River, this place will probably always have water because it’s spring fed. 3 cabins and 2 RV spots on 8 acres, means no one is crowded on top of you. One cabin is a 4 bedroom double wide trailer with wrap around porch. Bath house and restroom facilities are new and clean.”

“I've just been there for the first time briefly today...or I may have given it a 5 star rating. It looks like a really nice place to live and the one unit I was in was really nice!”

“I stayed for my birthday weekend in Cabin D and it was GREAT! I changed my reservation three different times and had an excellent customer service experience. That’s hard to find these days. Life happens and I was even upgraded too. FREE OF CHARGE! I would definitely recommend this cabin to any friends or family members.”

“Stopping on the third leg of our journey home from Columbus Ohio to San Antonio Texas. This is our last stop and it was very accommodating. They were super clean and the bedding was luxury level. My only complaint was the phone in our room didn't work LOL but honestly we didn't need it. Good morning breakfast with simple treats cereal and eggs and of course waffles. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. It was really good for the price and I will stay there again if I'm ever on a trip like this.”

“We have been staying here for a little over 2 months, and we really like it! It is quiet and serene in the area and on the property - with the pond, water feature, ducks, fish, and just the overall area. The property is pretty, the spots are all cement, and the other folks staying here are very respectful, friendly, and are not at all noisy; most have been here an extended time (so they treat it like their home, and care about it and their neighbors). The Grays are truly hospitable and friendly; Gary does a terrific job taking care of things around the place, and Clevone always has a smile every time we see her and she makes everyone feel welcome and right at home. They are easy to get along with, and to do business with. The utilities are all very new and the electrical is the best we've ever had the pleasure of using in a rented RV spot (and we full-timed for several years). In our opinion, this is the nicest RV location to rent in the Weatherford area. If you are not looking for a place with a pool and all sorts of fancy amenities - but instead are looking for a nice, clean, well-maintained, quiet place to park your RV and make your home - then we definitely don't think you'll be disappointed here. We give Grays Resort an enthusiastic 5-star review!”
