“My sister and I love living at Firefly Farms. It is beautiful. We have been here for a little over a year. The neighbors are sweet people. We love our home and it is built very well. The market has been tough since Covid. Supply and demand have been up and down. However, Homes to Go was honest throughout the entire process. We did not have any major issues with them. We can still pick up the phone and call if we have questions or needs. We do appreciate Paris, Tobi, Laura, Russell, Brad, and Erin from Homes to Go. We look forward retiring in this community and look forward to seeing it further developed.”

“Older rooms but mine was clean and they have a very small pet deposit compared to other hotels in the area. Tony was friendly when my cousin and I checked out. Only 2 towels in rooms but were happy to hand out more at the front desk. Bed was comfortable. I wouldn't book clients here, but for a few nights to save money with a pet it's good. We would rather spend the extra money on good food in many of Ft Worths stock yards restaurants.”

“Our kids really enjoy Thousand Trails Medina Lake! Their highlight of each day is when they get to feed the deer. I recommend taking your own sack of deer corn, especially if you will be there a few days. We've done both tent camping as well as stayed in the cabins. The pool is very large and clean, but it's been under construction for several months. I would call to make sure it's open if that's something you are looking forward to. There is an air conditioned community center with a pool table, baby rooms, inside and outside has a large area to play tennis, ping pong, volleyball, basketball and also a small playground. Next to that is a mini golf course. The place does needs some upkeep, but i'm sure that's something their new management is working on. Overall, if you're looking for a nice, nature filled, quiet outing away from home...this is it.”

“It's a time share so you're not checking in without a little pressure...but it ends there (unless you take the bribe and presentation). Very nice units on the backside across the street from main compound. From my back patio, 30 feet across grass to the nice pool/hot tub one way and 30 ft another to grill and picnic table or another to playground. Each day we saw more bugs...mostly in the kitchen...but we bought a can of spray and stayed on top of it. Great spa tub in the bedroom. Great size dining/living area, full kitchen. Parking and trash containers in front of condo. Nice little town, super market JUST up the road, plenty of good eateries. Game room and Grille on site. Good area for Pokemon Go :)”

“Terry's is a great place that is near Alvin, but not in Alvin. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets in a quiet park. I spent almost a year there and it was absolute peace. “I spent a few days here in November 2021 for a "girls" getaway. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the property was too. Location was perfect for what we did; whooping crane bird tour and eating the freshest seafood at local spots. The pool and hot tub were lovely. Other guests were kind and respectful. I really wish every hotel stay was this simple and layed back. This is a gem within a gem of a town.”
