“My fathers passing was not an expected departure, we were left without him here to lead us as he always has by his own will. As a family we were left trying to comprehend what to do next. We couldn’t gather the strength to enter our family home to clean up the area he took his life at. After working with funeral directors and insurance adjusters, we were being treated as everyday business transactions. Though death is a every day occurrence to these businesses, our fathers passing was not just another business transaction to us. This is when we came across BioTechs, and two other unnamed clean up services. Out of the three companies we contacted, BioTechs is the team that had us feel some type of comfort by the way they handled our call. David and Roxanne spoke and treated us with sympathy and empathy, they displayed professionalism while maintaining compassionate non scripted customer service. They also helped relieve the extra stress we felt by working one on one with the insurance agency. When the day came for BioTechs to perform their job they exceeded our expectations during a heartbreaking time for our family. The job was done with care, diligence, and profound expertise. Our family couldn’t be more thankful enough to BioTechs.”

“My husband and I stayed here when we went to Scarborough Faire earlier this year. It was a wonderful experience and a beautiful house. It was almost as fun as the faire and everything about it was basically perfect. The gentleman that runs the Inn was polite, kind, and knowledgeable. If I could rate it 10 stars I would for the decor alone. The only quibble I have (which does not detract from my rating) is that a train woke us up earlier than we'd like since it's right by the train tracks. Absolutely amazing.”

“Could not ask for better customer service! Bought new A/C unit after purchasing a dud from a different (Explore USA Rockport) place. These guys said to drop off the unit with them & they would test it for us (what? The other place said they needed our whole rv with a/c connected to be able to test it & blah, blah, blah to think about getting us our money back) (see my Explore USA Rockport review for more info) Amazingly enough we (customer Jason Wyeth) were issued a refund not even 24 hrs later for the faulty unit we didn't even purchase there. Knowledgeable & very helpful staff. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!”

“We had a great time at DVRVP. Everything was very clean and well cared for. We saw the owners & their team working hard to keep everything picked up over the holiday weekend. The kids loved the biking area and pool. The dog park area was clean and had fresh tennis balls. I really enjoyed walking down to the river with my morning coffee. It is very easy to see how much the owners care about their property. The easy access to the state park and Dinosaur World was just a bonus. We’ll definitely return.”

“Highly recommend this park/camp ground. Bring your bikes, pets, tents and all. If you can, book campsite 16 or 17, you will not be disappointed, it's right next to the lake shore. This place is sooooo beautiful! Plus, the owners rock, literally some of the nicest people on the planet. This is one place around the Austin area that you should have on your list to check out.”

We enjoyed watching the sunrise and sunset from the porch and taking the kids on nature walks during the day. The horses and donkeys grazing and playing being the fence just outside the cabin is picturesque.”

“I have stayed here for about a week and I can honestly say we love it. Monthly spots with all utilities. Dogs allowed. Perfect 5G signal which is a huge deal to those using Hotspot for WiFi. Wonderful country vibe out here. Directly across the street from Buck Creek Boat Ramp and the convenience of the lake is amazing. Always something to do. Kayak launch point, mild hiking, sandy area for swimming, boat dock. And Lynn or Linn (not sure the spelling) is really kind and funny! Had me cracking up! 🤣 The park is very quiet, you can see the stars so clear at night. I personally appreciate the absolute, perfect picnic tree right in the middle of the property. So far, it's the right place to call home!”

“This camping spot was accommodating to our needs, we felt safe, and it's in a convenient location. We enjoyed the drive-in movie theater nearby. The time of year that we visited the KOA had dead vegetation, hopefully there is more green grass and nice trees according to their pictures. The dog park access was convenient, we really liked this place, we will stay again. Military discount and location near Texas Tech was our main considerations.”

“We loved our stay at Cypress Creek Cottages. We chose Orange #3, which is not on the creek, but the bedroom opens to a generously sized private hot tub. The king sized bed was super comfy, not too soft and not too firm. The place was spotlessly clean and super cute inside. We loved opening the blinds on the side wall of the house that look over nothing but trees. It was the relaxing getaway we needed and we will return! Great value, too!”

“We had the greatest 60th birthday celebration brunch for my sis at Mystic Sky Ranch and the hospitality, food, and ambience were fabulous! Sandie and Joe have a treasure here and graciously welcomed our girl friends to their beautiful, tranquil place in the Texas Hill Country. Our gathering was special and memorable starting with their amazing commercial kitchen and 100 year old European farm table Sandie set with a lovely bird theme! Sandie prepared delicious baked brie and artichoke dip appetizers, a gorgeous pear and gorgonzola salad, a hearty lemon herb chicken dish, and an out-of-this-world strawberry shortcake! Thanks for a wonderful celebration -- it was the best!”

“A MUST DO FOR CHRISTMAS IN THE DFW AREA This was easily one of the most beautiful activities I have done this year with friends! I purchased a ticket during the week, so when I went, the traffic was very light and I got to drive through the entire light maze in peace. PLEASE TURN OFF YOUR HEADLIGHTS as the person behind me was rushing and had his high beams on. I was going 5 MPH and he was not happy about how slowly I was taking it, but oh he waited. If you drive slowly through, it will take about 15 minutes to drive through the entire thing. DON'T BE THAT JERK THAT RUINS OTHERS EXPERIENCE BY RUSHING THROUGH IT AND NOT FOLLOW DIRECTIONS TO TURN OFF THE LIGHTS! I have to give the creators of this event major props for their hard work and creativity. The light set up is impressive, and they have a radio station synchronized with their lights, so it just really wraps everything up so perfectly. The amazing benefit of this place is that you are inside your vehicle at all times. This is family friendly, and a great way to social distance without having to be close to strangers. I hope you give this one a chance, you will not regret it!”

“4 nights aren't enough. We love the house and being so close to the city beach and town square. A must stay for couples. No Wi-Fi or cable but who needs it in this romantic place. 4th of July in Granbury is classic from this house. You can walk to the town square and the park at the end of the road had a rocking concert.”

“This was the most amazing place with fantastic host & hostess. We rented the Inn for 2 days to have the rehearsal dinner and wedding. Marvelous! The beautiful house has all of the amenities and 2 kitchens. We decorated to our hearts content and enjoyed the view. Becky is the most wonderful person!”

Neathery Estate Bed and Breakfast

Address: 215 N Waddill St, McKinney, TX 75069, USA

Lodging

“I stayed at The Neathery Estate for 3 nights as a local getaway from the wonderful but sometimes exhausting people who live in my house. :) I chose the Magnolia Suite and I felt at home from the moment I checked in. The grounds are beautiful, the decor is sublime, the food is delicious, but the hospitality is incomparable! When I needed a place to spend some quality time resting and reflecting, The Neathery Estate was the right choice. With the proximity to Downtown McKinney, tons of choices for entertainment and food are quickly available. Tiffany is a wonderful, attentive host whose care and love of innkeeping is apparent in every way. Thank you for such an amazing place to spend some time taking care of myself!”
