“We had such a great experience on our mini vacation. The host, Samantha, was so hospitable and engaging. We were able to use the grill and say hello to her goats, sheep, hogs, rabbits and chickens. We really enjoyed seeing the apricot blossoms and had fun using their tandem bike while our neices and nephews enjoyed their swing set. They provided coffee, tea, popcorn and dvds for a cozy night in a well decorated house with the cutest details. Such a fun getaway and educational experience.”

“Beautiful facility and great place to host an Endurance Ride. Directions from the government.gov website give the perfect Google Map directions straight to the Valley View entrance. We had a nice shady area for our vehicles and trailers. Certainly looking forward to returning in the future.”

“I was here a few months ago for a wedding. The venue was excellent. It was pet friendly, which allowed my friend's dog to be part of the wedding and for a couple of friends to also have their doggos attend as guests. The wedding party did not get to stay at the house on-site due to construction(?), but the staff set us up in some cabins at a nearby property. It was overall a wonderful and memorable experience.”

“Breathing! Had a lovely weekend at the Tree House, if you want to escape the city noise, then the Tree House is for you. My husband and I enjoyed the Colorado River, Nature at its finest, and the Peace and Quiet!! The accommodations were excellent. The amenities for indoor and outdoor cooking were superb! “Been coming here every June for a while now and it's a great place to stay. I've stayed in the cabins which are great. I've pitched a tent there which was great especially having electricity at even site. Stayed with an RV and has full hook up. The owners and staff there are great! Very helpful and welcoming. We get shuttled upstream and arrive back at the camp site within 2 to 3 hours depending on the flow. Or you can start there or keep going from the upstream to lonestar and get shuttled back up. They make sure your safety is first and they confirm your party hasade it back. Definitely got to try them out!”

“I'm sorry some people had a bad experience. I've been here over a month. The management and staff have been very good to me. Close to anything in Gainesville and the Casino. For the price I would recommend it. My dog likes the all the walking and running room outside. I've stayed here a couple other times before and would stay again. “My husband and I spend 3 nights in the Lillian room! It was lovely but the best parts by far were Karen and Steve’s hospitality! They are lovely kind and generous people who work very hard to welcome and take care of their guests needs! They have done a beautiful job of renovation their unique historical home! I think it’s been 29 years of diligence to make a lovely get away for their guests! What an amazing contribution to their community! We especially recommend and appreciated the dinner for tow that Karen made us! Delicious! She is an excellent chef! We also love each unique breakfast and Steve blessing us by playing his fiddle! Our favorite part by far was the excellent message therapy in our room! Karen is an expert! We were very impressed and will definitely come again! Thank you so much!”

“I have never in my 69 years felt so welcome and wanted. These people are beyond awsome. The park mgr, Dennis, has gone way out of his way to help me get settled here. This place is very clean and quiet extremely pet friendly. It is filled with honest upright older people. Dennis has also made it a very safe and secure place to live. No drug labs, no loud blaring nasty music, no screaming and fighting either. The perfect place to live.”

“If you are looking for a place that's quiet and fishing friendly this is it. Our 40 footer was an interesting park but was successful. Rear was almost over the water. I watched crabs, speckled trout and red fish do their thing from my back window. Rockport is close by and has everything you need. Ray the camp host is very helpful. Neighbors were also great. We will be back, soon.”
