“My husband booked us this wonderful getaway! It was perfect! We enjoyed the beauty of God’s creation surrounding us. Keith and Darrin provided a comfortable, relaxing stay. We stayed in the Captain’s room, which included a fireplace and scenic view from the balcony. It was a spacious, beautiful room, and the bathroom has a jetted tub. We also spent time outside relaxing in a swing. We put feed that was provided out for the deer, and loved watching them come eat. Darrin made a delicious breakfast! “Currently living here at first had some issues but management bent over backwards to make it right. They went above and beyond to correct the problems we had and to ensure that we were happy. I can't say that for most anywhere else these days. It's quiet everyone keeps to themselves and the lots are reasonably priced for the location. Definitely plan on staying awhile and would recommend whether just passing thru or staying for awhile.”

“Gordon and everyone down at Al’s hideaway is awesome. We love traveling on 2 wheels and this is a perfect place to stay for riding all over the hill country! Scenic rides and great places to eat in all directions and then you get to cook and hang out with like minded people in their great outdoor kitchen or head back to cabin for a little more privacy and hang out on your own front porch.
