“Never in my life would I have thought a museum about windmills could be interesting...I was wrong. I was amazed at the amount of displays inside. A large scale model railroad, dollhouses, a millstone collection, and of course, windmills. Lots, and lots of windmills! This is a great day trip if you are in Lubbock and looking for something out of the ordinary.”

“What a splendid jewel. This is a must see wonder of Rockwall County. We got an incredible tour by a very knowledgeable staff member. They actually have an example of the famous: rock wall! I still believe it was made and not naturally formed, least wise its more exciting to think so. We are definitely going back and don't forget to grab a Boot Burger. Kudos Rockwall Historical Society!”

“Fun, little museum specializing in the history of Bastrop and Bastrop county. My favorite part was seeing the arrowheads from any from 8000 BCE -1800CE and learning more about how the city was impacted by WW2. Very friendly staff.”

“I was only able to see the outside because they stop selling tickets at 3:15 pm… I arrived at 3:25 pm. I was really excited to see this historical site, but I understand there are rules. I should have planned better. Hopefully I can visit another time in the future. It was interesting just seeing the outside. I’m happy I at least got to walk the property. It’s very pretty. From what I read online, they are open everyday except Monday, tickets are $7 per person and from my personal experience today, they stop selling tickets 45 minutes prior to closing. See you next time, Fulton Mansion.”

“I had a somewhat experimental order. Needed some dog clothing as well regular shirts printed for 2 different designs. I was having trouble finding someone local to handle the job, but Terz Ink rose to the challenge and came through in the clutch. The quality of the prints are great and working with Jon on the designs was quick and easy. He was kind and professional and I will not hesitate to use Terz again in the future.”

“We took two six year olds to this and they absolutely loved it. There were ten different rooms with interactive displays such a big bowl of “cereal” for them to climb in, a room full of “cotton candy”, a carnival sideshow and so much more. The space was immaculate and the staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. One member came around with us to take photos which they were happy to email to us. If you’re looking for an unusual and unique outing, definitely check this out!”

“Wish I could give more stars. My boys bought me a ride on the T-6, which my father flew in WWII and the Korean War. They even have it dressed up with his famed squadron patch - the Mosquito Squadron. Everyone working there is a volunteer, and everyone we met is the friendliest person you ever met. They rightfully take great pride in the work they do and love to tell you the stories of their planes - and boy do they have some great stories. Truly a fantastic group of people doing some amazing work.”

“Astounding place. Displays are excellent. Explanations are fantastic. Pottery is wonderful. They have a one hour movie that was fantastic. Staff was at a meeting so Mary the security guard helped us, started the movie and let us buy hats when the store was closed. She was super helpful. The state of Texas has built a freeway absolutely blocking the entrance to this museum with no way to enter or exit if you are coming to El Paso or trying to go north when you exit. Inexcusable to not provide an ingress and egress.”

“There is plenty of parking for Travel Town Railroad so no need to worry about that. The actual area is pretty small and can be done in about 1-2 hours if you take your time and 1 hour if you do it quickly. Seeing the old trains are cool and there are a lot of them asking to see. The gift shop is little and kind of expensive. The train ride isn't expensive and it's cool to ride to get a quick look at the whole area. Best of all it's free to get in so overall it's worth a trip to check this place out.”

“This place is amazing and a must-see during the holiday season. The owner has put countless hours and a lot of apparent love into this passion. It is free of charge (although I strongly suggest donating, as this is an amazing experience). There are a lot of really neat and it seemed like rare items throughout the tour. There is also a neat little gift shop in the middle of the tour. My family and I have gone here for the past 5 years and have never been disappointed.”

“The Landmark Inn had its Kid Fish Event so we took our 2 grandkids. It was their first time fishing and they had a blast! They each caught 3 fish each and they were able to hook 2 each to keep. Rainbow Trout was what they caught and we cooked them up later. They will have it again in the Spring so bring your kids on out. It's Free and we'll organize.”
