“Do not let star rating stop you; only giving 4 stars because of construction noise, which won't last forever. Very happy TX is finally forced to use the sporting goods tax meant for the state parks FOR the state parks. We will definitely keep this Park on the "return to" list.”

“Stayed here in our 35 ft motorhome towing a Jeep. It is a quiet place right on Turtle Bayou and run by the sweetest couple. The grounds are impeccable and they have a pier if you like to fish. The bathrooms were incredibly nice! Brand new and resemble a high end hotel (no lie)! Beautiful granite countertops, roomy showers with beautiful new tile (not plastic showers) and spotless!! We stopped here passing on our way home from Florida and it was the perfect spot. ????”

“I am from Florida and visiting. My daughter needed to blow off some steam and this place was perfect for that. It is so different from any park we have been to before. There isn't a playground but that was not an issue. They have a bag toss comfy chairs music was going. It was really fun.”
