“Camp Wisdom, owned by the Dallas Circle 10 Council of the BSA, has been around for decades. It is particularly known for support of shooting sports; rifle, pistol, and shotgun. The three ranges are excellent and extremely well maintained by a very active shooting sports committee. Even though it is only 20 miles from our Scout Troop meeting place, we had not been there, as we are in a different Council. We have two certified instructors in our Troop so we went there this past weekend. The temperatures were still Texas Summer like (highs mid-90s, low 75, and very humid) but we had a great time anyway. All Scouts who needed it qualified for the merit badge. We did not check out the rest of the camp, but it looked good on the way by.”

“This is my second experience with the camp. I had a family reunion there in July '14 that was well received overall My second visit was on June 8, '19. There's still lots of room and plenty of activity. The putt putt golf area needed supervision and lawn maintenance. I enjoyed the zip line which was new. We brought our own food; but, I didn't hear any complaints about the camp's food. The map of the resort can stand improvement because some visitors said the map misled them to and from the areas away from the main family areas. In closing, I look forward to my next visit to experience what I missed.”

“The trails are awesome. Lots to look at. The police make a presence so you feel safe. My only gripe would be certain cyclists feel they own the road. These people should read the trail rules and that is the pedestrians have the right of way.”

“I was quite impressed with the facility they have! Pool, bathrooms, laundry and even a pond! And great monthly prices! The thing that I admired the most is the cleanliness of the park! Each lot has their own trash can! Great place!”

“Fully paved, no lake access- there's a tall fence. Beautiful place, quiet. One pokestop at the trailhead. There is also a toilet. We saw some bones behind some benches. The sunset was very nice.”

“The park is great! It’s well kept, and the outdoor facilities (like the playground, benches, grills, etc) seemed to all be in good order. About 15 minutes until closing, someone from the parks department will come by and start trying to close the gates and things, so it’s pretty clear they don’t want people in after hours. All in all, seems like a great park!”

“The pavilion was clean and had adequate space for a large gathering . The restrooms were close and there was enough space to hold extracurricular activities as well ! I'd recommend it for anyone wishing to hold a birthday party or large family gathering. The only downside was the size of the grill was very small for the size of the pavilion.”

“I totally love this baseball park. I like how the sports complex is laid out. This is a great location. I would highly recommend it to anyone.”
