Harry Myers Park

Address: 815 E Washington St, Rockwall, TX 75087, USA

Park

“The experience at Harry Myers park was absolutely amazing. The premises were impeccably maintained and spotlessly clean. My little two-year-old was over the moon with excitement when we visited the splash pad and playground - the perfect spots for her to have some fun. The park's picturesque surroundings were breathtakingly beautiful, and we even took a stroll around the pond to enjoy the scenery. The park-goers, including the residents, were very cordial and friendly, adding to the overall pleasant experience. I highly recommend visiting Harry Myers park with your family for a day full of fun in the sun!”

Haltom City Parks & Recreation Department

Binkley Park

Address: 101 Binkley Park Dr, Sherman, TX 75092, USA

Park

“Great hike. North entrance of the trail was closed and roped off. Hiking from the playground got me on to the trails and I was able to walk the whole trail system. Somewhat muddy but not terrible. Great tree canopy to walk under through most of the trails. Many awesome views. Quiet park.”

Poesta Park

Address: 1100 S Tyler St, Beeville, TX 78102, USA

Park

“Lights need to be fixed... walking path could use a resurfacing, especially for senior citizens that need a smooth even surface to avoid falls if they lose their balance due to holes, cracks, loose gravel/rocks, and lack of a uniform predictable surface. Grass/weeds need to be cut for greater mosquito control and other problematic insects.”

RL Waters Edge RV Park

Address: 9918 Co Rd 3622, Quinlan, TX 75474, USA

Rv park Campground Lodging Park

“Just relocated from Dallas and stumbled Across this gem while googling rv parks close to Dallas. Due to the city being outrageous in price and pretty crammed rv parks I decided that I wanted to move a comfortable distance away from Dallas. This place is beautiful! It looks like the owner is making renovations and the things they’ve done so far look great! The lake is steps away from your front door. There’s a dock that you can fish off of and a boat launching ramp. Although I don’t own a boat I look forward to fishing!”

Lavonia Park

Address: 1301 Co Rd 486, Lavon, TX 75166, USA

Park

“This camp ground is close to home so it was one of the first places we took our new camper. The views are AMAZING, and it is a clean and large campground. We did not use any other facilities so I can't speak to those but the only thing making it a little difficult is that 99% of the camper pads are not level, so taking an extra 10-15 minutes for setup is necessary. Overall we had a great trip!”

Good gift shop at the mid-point. Middle also has a nice little petting zoo where you can groom the goats. We walked a nice little trail at the rest stop too which had facts about the wildlife. Cheetah, zebra and rhino greeted us on the second half.”

Be warned the swings are really hot during the day, i recommend going in the morning. It's a great park to go to if you don't want to share the park space with anyone. The playground has a rubber surface which is softer for little kids & doesn't get as hot.”

They said it is very calm and relaxing. Students go there to study or meet each other. I loved the outdoor seats as well. It is nice for friends and family gatherings. It is also nice to visit after the morning walk in the park. The cafe itself is beautifully done from inside. I would take a moment to speak about the team members!! They are amazing! Very nice, polite, positive, and have beautiful spirits. The moment you walk in to place your order, they give you a beautiful sense of positivity. I think we need this. ❤️ They are also very professional. I do recommend this place. 👌”

Bluebonnet Trail

“Bluebonnet trail at Heritage Park in Flower Mound is a must to traverse while visiting the park by yourself, with friends or family. On our third visit to Heritage Park we had the experience of walking a majority of Bluebonnet Trail. The family loved connecting back with nature and enjoyed looking at the statues of various animals along the trail, as well as the wildflower areas. Two pluses were a bench that overlooked a river and a public restroom is located at the end of Bluebonnet Trail near the Performance Pavillion.”
