“Out of the way park which was nice so our family could visit. Just picnic tables but they are in shade and there are restrooms. Best part is close to the air field so we watched fighter jets take off and land. Kids loved it and plenty of open space to run around.”

“Nice nice view of the base and usually I nice breeze. I just wish it had rubber instead of stone. Sometimes older kids try to throw the stones at each other. However I also see some kids make little hills and put some down the slide. So they can be nice if used properly.”

“I love this place, it is so nice and so beautiful. I will come back to have fun and run, get some exercise. The bad news is that there are no water fountains at the end of the trail which you are surrounded by nothing but forest and the nearby creek. I recommend bring plenty of water and some snacks.”

“Great place to take the kids or throw a family get-together. There are multiple playgrounds for children of all ages and plenty of trees for shade. If you reserve a gazebo there are usually barbecue grills near them and tons of space to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed after 12pm as well. It is located right off the highway so be careful locating the entrance or you could pass it up. I highly recommend this park!”

“Its relaxing, peaceful, quiet, and not to mention beautiful. It's almost as being one with nature.”

“Probably by far has been my favorite aspect while living here. My son and I began to trim and clean up the streets cul de sac for his school's community service project. We still due to many uncontrollable circumstances have yet to finish it. We really were new to this area, it was so awesome to see how many of our neighbors came out to see what was going on only trumped with great feelings of joy hearing their stories and memories. We will definitely miss everyone when we move.”

“It's excellent place for kids. It has a park and walk zone to river shores. You can fish and use a Kayak at the same time. Play beach volleyball and do your workout under the sun. See the ducks and enjoy nature. It has a big green grass space.”

“This is our favorite Yogi bear park to visit because of the water slides! It seemed very well maintained & We had a blast! They are very accommodating. We are planning a trip back!”

“This is a fun neat spot. These folks have camping and entertainment down to a fine science. We stayed in a cabin but there are trailer hookups and tent camping sites available. Great family atmosphere, playgrounds, evening entertainment for adults, swimming, and golf carts to zip around in. Very laid back, you are not elbow to elbow with other campers. It’s a place for a wholesome family time.”

“Went to a free concert here last night by Sol Flair. It was great. The grounds were clean and landscaped nicely. Parking available just across the street. Many events are held here. Not a park with a playground.”
