“Favorite park for toddlers, great pavilion to rent for events. Had our baby shower here and it went great. Bathroom is a little far from the pavilion but not horrible. Never too crowded like candy cane can get.”

“Loved it!! Took my 1 yr old here for the first time and she had a blast!!! It was not crowded at all, 2 other families, very sweet! Perfect place for kids. Basketball court, volleyball court and soccer, trails, pavilion, splash pads, park and restrooms”

“Very very nice RV park (resort). People are very friendly and everybody keeps to themselves, I have never been uncertain on leaving my RV unlocked, w/o a doubt I know 100% not one person is going to even think about messing with someone else's things. For example, there is a washroom on the premise, I can throw my clothes in the washer(s) and/or dryer(s) and forget about them 'so to say' and not one thing be messed with. Long story short, I feel a strong sense of comfort and calm while being there. Strongly Recommend, you're sure to enjoy your stay!”

“Great staff! Close enough to I-10 for easy access but far enough away that I had no issues with noise. The spaces are not huge but the staff are more than willing to walk out there and help you back in if you happen to be like me traveling alone and not getting in at a decent time ????”

“Love this park. The play ground is really small but they have a nice splash pad. Just watch out for the wild armadillos and ducks they will chase you down”

“Nice hiking trail, just need to follow the instruction and read the signs careful. I have seen lots of deer and alligators on the water.”

“Absolutely beautiful park! I was only able to picnic here at the tables but it was an amazing place to relax and enjoy the air and sun. Park is very well kept and open. This would be a great place to bring the family to play catch. There are many bikes paths that surround the park. I can't wait to come back! :D”

“I love this place... Nice for a walk with the family, safe sometimes a bit too much, feels like you are being watched, but since I'm having fun i forget about that and enjoy the area and views... I took a ton of pictures of my kids and family. I love to compare pics of my kids when they were like 4 y/o to now almost 14.Normally walk around the lake but I've seen a trail. Overall nice and beautiful place.”

“Beautiful place but it is not what I thought it would be. Only a handful of teddy bear statues and parking was horrible. You have to park on the side of a narrow road. Not ideal when you have to spend time outside the car buckling in a little one in the car seat. Worth visiting at least once to get pictures.”

“This location of Traveler's World offers RV camping and tiny house/cabin rentals. I made reservations and stayed there for 3 days in my RV. The staff was very friendly and helpful, to the point of offering bus transit route maps and scheduled bus stop times. A north bound bus stop is located across the street while a southbound bus stop was located about 50 feet from the door of Traveler's World. Between the location of Traveler's World and the bus stops it was very easy to visit the Alamo, several missions and the river walk. The amenities at Traveler's World are well maintained while the overall feel of the entire facility was homey, clean and safe.”
