“I could swear I already wrote a review for this park, but I'm cool with writing another one. We live in the neighborhood near this park so it's super convenient for us to get to. There's a creek near by that the park is not closed off from. I can see where a lot of parents would take issue with this, however, I love it. I've taken the kid on, what I call, mini hikes. Just to get outside and kind of explore something new. We didn't run into any critters such as snakes or anything aggressive. We did find an animal skeleton though, I'm betting it was a feline, but I'm not an expert on such things. I wouldn't just go out willy nilly exploring. I tend to lean toward very cautious, so we had a talk with the kids, who are 8 and 10, about what to do and not to do while out exploring and it was, overall, a successful fun trip. The park itself is nice, they have a neat playground and swings there. There's also a gazebo and few stone tables to hang out at while the kiddos run around. Might be a good place for a birthday party.”

“We are fortunate to live on a path along the Horsepen Creek waterway, and it reaches Heatherbank Dr across from the Greenway. We enjoy biking/walking/scootering or whatever to the "duck pond". Our 4 children really enjoy the ducks and the steep hills down to the grassy banks of the pond. They also love to feed the ducks but beware - if they know you have food, the ducks might "attack" the smaller children to get the food from them. Plenty of shade here and a clean place to enjoy exercising in the outdoors. If you want to drive here, it's best to park in one of the surrounding neighborhood cul-de-sacs - there are access points at all of them. There's no safe place to park along Heatherbank Dr.”

“Went there to bird and was not disappointed! Different species of birds everywhere and people to help you find them. Beautiful ponds, trees, blooming shrubs and quiet..except for an occaisional gull squawk. But hey! You're on the coast! They're having fun, too!”
