“Great restaurants and bars, keeps getting better with new spots to visit. I'm a big fan of The Gooses Acre, I have been since it opened. Being Australian I had been looking for good Shepards Pie (that I or my mum didn't make, of course) but I couldn't find any, until I tried theirs! They use beef vs. Lamb but it's still really good. Oh!! and its super kid friendly on Sundays! I believe they eat free until noon. (OR used to.) When the weather is nice the patio is a good option, soak up the sun, eat, drink and of course people watch. :)”

“Great place, lots of room and activities. Plenty of shade and an open space with nothing on it. Is that bad? No! It's a great area to sit, lay down and gaze at the clouds, play tag, kick a ball, kick the ball up the hill, kick it again on its way back down. Clean. Worth a visit.”

“Greenlawn is a first class group of people. Given the gravity and circumstances of the situation they handled our families time with the utmost care, grace and dignity. I can’t put into words how great full we are. We especially would like to thank Tyler, she walked us through our options and went above and beyond expectations.”

“This is probably the prettiest section of trail along the Spring Creek Greenway so far. If you like hiking, biking or bird watching you will be in heaven.”

“Spent about 90 minutes walking with my dog out from this new trailhead. Very well-marked trail - blue markings on trees or posts. Wide open spaces with lots of large pond views. Lots of birds. Flat, mostly grassy surface, and well-maintained. A little wet in spots - February in Texas. About 1.5 miles out the main trail veered into the woods. More of a single track dirt trail in there with lots of pine needle cover. A few small hills and wooden bridges and the path runs along Spring Creek for a bit. I turned around at 2 miles, but I've read that the trail goes 13 miles all the way to the Montgomery County Preserve. I saw only 2 humans while I was out, and there were a few rangers doing some maintenance/tree planting at the trailhead. There is a small parking lot - 10 cars maybe? No restrooms or garbage cans. The trailhead is off of Dr. Ann Snyder Drive - although the street doesn't currently show up on Google Maps. It is between the streets Evermore Trail, and North Curly Willow Circle. There are signs for the trailhead on Creekside Forest Drive. Beautiful peaceful place.”

“It's small and really nice. Great for a little family reunion. There are grills there and a little hut to have a small get together. Just watch out for the bees.”

“This pond is one of the few ponds that have clear water in the area. Often see family fish here.”
