“Great place to go fishing, play soccer, play basketball, have a picnic, and its right next door to the dog park. Also is a good place to take a drone to go fly. Along with a boat launch for watercraft like canoes or kayaks. Its great place to take your family and have a good time.”

“About 1.75 miles according to our fit bit. Good place to go for a jog or walk. Not many shaded areas so, plan accordingly. Has a good playground for kids and it's fairly maintained. Bathroom could be cleaner and has no soap. So, BYOS.”

“This park is amazing! Has a great playground, swings, covered picnic tables, and a great walking trail around the lake. You can either walk around the entire lake, or choose the shorter route by going on the bridge. Either way, it's fun for everyone.”

“Beautiful scenery and multiple walking trails of varying distances. Years ago, I walked there regularly for exercise. At that time, there were two sections of the trail totalling approximately two and a half miles, and a playground for those with children. In recent years I have suffered health issues including severe knee problems, so it's been some time since I last visited Wortham Trails. I'm working to build strength and stamina in preparation for total knee replacement surgery, so I decided to start walking there again. I am unable to walk great distances at this time, so I was worried about being able to make it around the pond section of the trail (approximately one mile). I was very happy to find that since my last visit, they've added a new, much smaller path on the grounds (I'm guessing it's about a quarter mile in length). It suits my needs perfectly and I was able to complete two laps around the shorter trail on my first visit. In addition, should I find myself struggling with walking and need to take a short break, there are benches at multiple intervals along the way as well as recently added picnic tables. There is also a new playground for kids. I enjoyed walking there in the past. Now I enjoy it even more and always look forward to my next walking session there. ????????????????????”

“Cool trail, very quiet. I was the only one out there the entire route. Definitely easy to navigate. Preferably when it’s dry, so bring bug repellent and lots of water. Trees are marked to help you stay on trail. Recommend it for anyone who enjoys the outdoors!”

“The first thing I noticed is that it did not smell bad, you'd think with horses, but no. Very clean. The owners are very professional and friendly. The instructor is attentive, patient and skilled with his teaching. Horses are in great shape. My granddaughter loves being there and she's learning.”

“Great local park. Parking is a little scarce so you can park on the street if needed. The basket ball court is in great shape. The tennis courts are also in great shape but are locked so bring your key if you want access. There is also a huge open space that is well taken care of with landscaping and mowing.”

“Not bad trails but as like most places in houston a lot of the trails are either dirt or shale, not much of it is paved. They do go on for a pretty good distance but you will find that some of the trails abruply end and you will be forced to turn around. A good amount of shade from the sun in kost areas and usually not to many people around so it's a nice relaxing spot to take a walk or go for a decent ride through the trees, next to the water. Look out for snakes. I see one almost every time we go, last time there was a big one.”
