“One of my most favorite parks in Houston! The track is miles and miles long, the scenery is beautiful, peaceful, and well taken care of. Along the track is a connection of several other parks that travel along Blackhawk blvd. There is covered exercise equipment, and several playgrounds. So get out there and enjoy the outdoors!”

“This is an interesting place. There's a walking path that goes halfway around the lake and a GCWA trail that I haven't yet tried. The parking, boat ramp and jetty are all great. In my four trips there within the past month, I've not seen more than two other parties at the same time, none with boats. I'd love to know the history of the lake--it's like a convex lens on the bottom instead of concave--shallower in the middle. There is a lot of wildlife here. Bring your canoes and kayaks and check it out!”

Showers laundry room dog wash free air for your tires and plenty of spaces for your RV. Staff is friendly and the Clubhouse has a pool table shuffleboard workout machines weights television and they even have free coffee and popcorn. “Well kept and good people on the trail. Can't rate five stars because their are no facilities except at the Dixie Farm end of the trail. 2 parks between ends with nothing. Where do the park goers go? Gentlemen find a tree. Ladies your on your own.”

“Great park that I didn't know existed until I passed by it one day. One note is that you can't just keep walking down the trail. You have to stop at some point and go back the same way you came (or else you'll dead end to 518).”

“It's a nice park. Has a good walking trail and basketball court plenty of shade around some tables, the only thing I don't like about it is that the playground seems pretty old and parking gets really full on the weekends you might have to park on the side of the street.”

“They knocked down the old, wooden battleship playground and put in an updated one. There are also new benches and tables, some with games painted on the tops. There are restrooms and lots of ducks. Basketball court, soccer field, and skatepark.”
