“Secluded, Isolated, nothing much for kids or even adults .. very quiet neighbourhood as well. It's just there's a big hole in ground with small rocks boundary which kinda looks picturesque”

“We found this while looking for a great place to let our service dog play in the water and also cool off. Nice shirt who down to the water, lots of area to spread out with others enjoying the water as well. We could tell the water was lower than normal because of the drought, but we really enjoyed it all the same! Remi really loved her swim!”

“My neighborhood park is so much fun on a sunny Sunday. My twins love the swing set and the park structure has a rock climbing wall that is very fun. Tennis courts to boot....splendid park to enjoy a lovely day.”

“It is a good park. I only used the playground. However, if your kid is a smaller kid like 2 years old, some steps are too high to get on, and the slide is too steep. Also, beware of the mosquitoes. The trees are gorgeous, but the mosquitos and ants are biting horribly.”

“Perfect for stopping in. Awesome because it's free WITH electrical and water hookups. Good dump station. The smell is kind of weird here but not unbearable. Not good for my dog because the grass has a ton of prickleys. Very good size lots, our 35 foot camper and extended bed truck fit with plenty of room! Highly recommend for stopping through!”

“Boerne city lake park is well designed and very well maintained. We are lucky enough to still have 33+feet of water when near by lakes have so little. The disc golf course is a huge draw for some. There is paddle boat rentals and now on busier days there is a food truck! If you get there before 7am entry is free!!!”

“While driving around I drove through this beautiful park. I love how much space there is between the sites. It’s completely different than other RV Parks that I have been through.”

“This place is absolutely breathtaking. The sights are wonderful. They have a great pool, a basketball court, a small workout area, and a kids' playground. There's also a cute little store. I would highly recommend visiting here. We booked the place for an aviation Merit Badge, but due to weather, we had to cancel at the last minute. Staff were really friendly and helpful, and they cancel our booking. We booked for another weekend when weather was really beautiful.”

“Most people here are regulars and have been for years. So many people that come here are friendly, warm and inviting. The park is small, so it's not intimidating to make a circuit around. I can go around 2-3 times and not feel lost or overwhelmed. Great to come in the mornings around 7-9am. Resident ducks and geese make it quite the interesting experience though. They leave you alone usually, but every once in a while, they have their bad days too. Everything is a case to case, day to day basis. Just have to come and see for yourself to find out!”

“Older established park , clean and very helpful friendly staff. WI-FI was strong. Water pressure was very good. Short term sites were long, wide, and pretty level for gravel. My truck and 38’ fifth wheel had plenty of room. It was also very quiet at night.”

“I played here with my team Real Madrid club. It’s an amazing place but the fields are not good. I understand because the maintenance costs too much. The place is not that well funded, on the weekends, it costs $3 to play. (Referee fee) There needs to be bleachers on the side of field for the fans to sit and trash cans need to be in the sides of the field as well. It will improve a lot.”

“Parking can be a bit of a problem but hoping the construction they are doing will fix that. Also the deck hockey park has been broken into and slightly vandalized. Park department needs to do a better job with security at places like this.”

“This was my first time going and it was a stop on my home from Thousand Trails Temoma, so didn’t have a lot of time (2 hours). But it was well worth it and wish I could have stayed longer. Staff was amazing and friendly. Was able to do the complete Harris Creek Trail. Will come back soon to see more migration of birds. Highly recommend.”

“Several years ago, this place saved my birthday when all I wanted was to go tubing but I wanted to sleep late too! The river is low right now, but we went back and they've built on, it's nicer than the "more popular" alternatives and more importantly, the people there are SO nice. General store, very nice restrooms with hot showers- This is THE place when the water gets back up- we floated anyway today and still had a great time. Will definitely go back when their shuttle is operating after some sweet rain :)”

“Good Day... It is not very often I take the time to leave a review. To support this I have been on the road for 6 months and this is my 2nd review. I will not speak of check in, staff, or issues that do not have any importance to myself... If you have time to stay here for 1 week or a month you will not be dissapointed unless you are looking to play load music, party with other campers and guests. Totally Quiet, Super Clean, Most Helpful, and amazing accommodations and RV Sites... The near by parks and services are also excellent.. Fishing is great as well... Respectfully Submitted...”

“Doug, that manages the park is very nice and accommodating. We met numerous nice people staying at this park. It is a basic park with not a lot of extra amenities, or at least nothing fancy. It does appear to be well maintained. The big plus here is the pleasant and laid back atmosphere. Doug adds a lot to that.”
