Easy to follow paved trail with nice scenic views. Great for walking or biking. Also nice direct route connecting Denton to Lewisville. Full trail is 12 miles point to point so perfect for distance runs too.”

Mott Park

Address: 957 FM985, Ennis, TX 75119, USA

Park Campground Lodging

“I read several negative reviews on this park before visiting and after staying for the night I really don't understand why. I would give it a true 3.5 rating. It is not as nice as a state park, yet not as bad as some of the KOA parks we have stayed. The park is nice for local boaters and has a swimming area. The restrooms were clean and had hot water. (The shower pressure could be a little stronger, but definitely met our needs). The park was pretty quiet after 10 p.m. and we slept well. We saw local police patroling throughout the park several times, which is a plus for safety. Our site was: level, had a covered picnic table, a grill, a fire pit, electrical hook up, and water spicket. We would definitely stay again if we were passing through.”

Harmony Park

Address: 699 Indian Creek Dr, Trophy Club, TX 76262, USA

Park

“Many a soccer game played at this park! Honestly it’s a good park, but there are some issues due to its location and extreme amount of soccer. It’s a long slow drive through a neighborhood, and you better use your gps. If you can go when soccer games aren’t being played, then you can find a parking spot relatively easy. The park is big and it has nice playgrounds for the kids. The restrooms are good for a park, and next to the playgrounds. Make sure you take necessary snacks and drinks as the concession stand is rarely open and only during soccer league play…and it’s 3.5 miles to the closest grocery store and a little further for fast food. I would love to give this park 5 stars for its good points, but it’s just not been convenient for the other reasons. Location: 699 Indian Creek Dr. Trophy Club, TX 76262 Amenities Harmony Park is a 13-acre multi-use park located at the far end of Indian Creek Drive. The park features: 1 basketball court 2 playgrounds - Small playground for ages 2-5, Accessible playground for ages 5-15 2 tennis/pickleball courts 3 shaded bocce courts 9 soccer fields Men’s and women’s restrooms Pet water fountain Water fountain”

Twin Groves Park

Address: 3000 East Hwy #380, Princeton, TX 75407, USA

“There are restrooms on site. Unfortunately the area had some broken glass but otherwise not too trashy. It was nice and quite for the most part.”

Lasater Park

Address: 1500 Harmon Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76131, USA

“Nice little community park. Plenty of space for kids, pets, etc. to run around. Playground equipment is in good shape. Grounds are nicely kept. No restrooms or water fountains, though.”

Burning Mesquite Park

Address: 12547 Cevallia Ave, El Paso, TX 79928, USA

Park

“This is a nice park. It has a walking trail and it's clean. It has a couple of porta potties. It also has a good size playground for the children. There is some kind of walking trail that goes through the neighborhoods and it appears to be expanding. This is a popular training park for soccer and flag football.”

Trail Drivers Park

Address: 1700 NE 28th St, Fort Worth, TX 76106, USA

“This iconic park probably has been visited be tons of people. The park is usually well kept. We as people don't slow down enough to appreciate life anymore.”

Poetry Shooting Club

Address: 20495 TX-34, Terrell, TX 75161, USA

Park

“Nice, quiet place to shoot. Walter is very laid back. Great, private and loooooong range for use at a very competitive and fair price. Not as crazy as public range, was able to really give my kids 6, 8 a chance to get some practice with fundamentals. I shot my ar-10 at 400 yards and we were all plinking with .22 and 9mm. Excellent price, a little bit of a drive but it is well worth it.”

Burleson Park

Address: 3000 University Blvd, Dallas, TX 75205, USA

Park

“This is the kind of quiet low-key park for kids who plan on meeting up with other kids from their third grade class. The equipment is up to date and as safe as playground gear can get. Well-manicured lawns, gently curving sidewalks and Pollyanna-style shade trees make this the perfect after-school-getaway for kids, parents and babysitters!”

Cowboy Capital RV Park

Address: 6639 TX-16, Pipe Creek, TX 78063, USA

Campground Lodging Park

“The park is very clean, safe, and "charming" with guinea chicks, turkeys, and deer that appear from time to time. They offer great daily or weekly prices and offer full hookup (water, sewer, electricity). The owners are friendly and extremely helpful... great people! The other campers were also friendly and welcoming.  We had a wonderful and restful stay. It's also close to Bandera, a cute, western themed town. We would definitely stay here again when in town.”
